Pain in the belly. We had a great takeaway from here just a couple of months ago. Tonight, no good. Chewy tasteless calamari. Undercooked beef satays. BBQ pork slices and decent veggies ruined by appalling watery “plum sauce”. Ayam goreng had utterly flavorless “marinated” chicken bits drowned in batter. Marinated in flour, no spices. The spring rolls and fried rice were good, the rest rubbish. I feel ill. Sin Yau, you’re off the list. See less

Almost inedible. Very disappointing. Beef satay sticks raw in the middle. Tasteless calamari rings. Not fried rice (boiled rice with stuff in it instead). Definitely not Ayam Goreng. Instead it is obviously the same heavily battered chicken pieces that is used in honey chicken and the like. Definitely not marinated as Ayam Goreng is supposed to be. Plum sauce was so watery on the BBQ pork it barely had any taste. What a waste of money. Never again. See less

I love Sin Yau garden, I've been going there in some capacity since I was a child. Excellent Chinese cuisine, reasonable prices - what more could one want? They are more focused around the takeaway business but have tables and good service to eat in if one likes. See less
