I had the $55 per person banquet since it was really good when I was in Moda few times before. Unfortunately it was pretty average experience.... Cauliflower Panna cotta was the best in the 6meals, other than that scallops was so small and I can only taste garlic.. mushroom balls bit dry and average.. duck was great but only 4 tiny thin pieces... blood sausage was ok but so small.. pork belly was OK but nothing special... sangari has no fruits in the drink... first time having dinner in moda half full and average experience.. pretty disappointed as I had high hope to go back for dinner See less

It wouldn't be right if I said it was the best Thai that we have eaten, but it was decent enough. The lunch specials are quite inexpensive, but not overly large. Still, the main menu overall is not expensive anyway. We did like the friendly service; attentive without being overbearing. Also appreciated the prompt replies to my Facebook enquiries prior to our visit and we also received a call on the morning of our booking to reconfirm. Corkage on bottled wine is $12.00 per bottle, which these days, is quite reasonable. We took our own wine, but really, the wine list is pretty good and reasonably priced. Would we go back ? Yes. We have dined here twice before when we've stayed in the city & the food has been great. But this time around we were totally disappointed by the whole experienc. Maybe new owners? There was nothing Thai about our crispy duck with a measly lettuce salad on the side, steamed rice & sauce in a side dish! Totally not Thai food that we know of in nice sauces with a proper Thai salad!! Wouldn't really recommend it at the present time!! Staff were trying to be helpful but it didn't make up for a bad experience! See less

Wow! Amazing food and beautiful family. Have been here a few times now and just seems to get better and better. Love going there. And they serve Mollydooker wine 🍷😍 Now opening another Thai restaurant in Hahndorf. Can’t wait to try it out. Best of luck guys. See less

Disappointing. Ordered takeaway entree of deep fried chicken wings and a combination fried rice. Asked for chilli and soy sauce on the side. Prices were different to the menu hanging in the window. Paid $37 in total. $25 for the fried rice alone!. Thought to myself must be large portions and very good, plus i was starving and in a rush. Get back to my hotel , find no chilli and soy sauce at all. :( . Fried rice was very oily and no fresh herbs or veges in in. Just lots of rice and some meat. Fried rice is my favourite meal and this wasn't that great, at $25 it was terrible. If you served that fried rice at that price in Chinatown they'd laugh you out of town. The chicken wings were good though. See less

We shared a lovely lunch of green chicken curry and pud Thai here. We sat outside on a Friday afternoon about 2.30pm and it was beautiful winter weather. The dining experience was nice and the service was fantastic. Not a cheap lunch, but we didn't choose to go with the lunch special either. Overall, really nice food! 😊 Thank you. See less
