Its delightful to come across a service & product provider during current 'testing times' where nothing is too much to ask for & isn't overpriced to make requests happen. Danny & the team were amazing! They met our needs to a 'T' !! We had firm criteria to meet with the venue we selected, & Danny was on point with each step we needed to make happen. Danny and the crew from Sitting Ducks made mum's 80th a really enjoyable affair for all concerned - the food right through canapes to dessert was excellent, they did the bar for us and went the extra mile for us on the night. Simply phenomenal. Our company engaged Sitting Ducks Catering for a launch party we held and we were blown away with how great they were to work with. From the preparation and time the took meeting us prior to the event, curating a menu that met all of our needs and then assisting us on the night with making sure the evening ran so smoothly. It was our absolute pleasure working with Sitting Ducks Catering for our Christmas party which was a mammoth task at an external venue in the elements for 250 people. With Danny and Ewan's expertise, they made organising the event feel as easy as a dinner party for two! Danny and his team were flawless. From the time I first made contact they could not have been more professional. They listened carefully to what we were trying to achieve and guided and advised us expertly. On the day their team arrived and worked on site to create and serve beautifully presented dishes that could not be faulted. The team was a pleasure to have in our home on the day and interacted with our guests in a friendly , professional way that simply added to the atmosphere of the evening. The whole process, from the initial meeting to work out the menu, right the way through to cleaning up and collecting your equipment after the big day couldn't have been more relaxed - something anyone planning a wedding REALLY appreciates. The food - I really don't need to say much about it, I think your reputation in Canberra says enough. Our guests were all so impressed with the quality and the freshness of what you put out - and the professionalism of your chefs and the service given by your wait staff was also noted by everyone. On a day where things are meant to just work, your team played their part and seamlessly lived up to your reputation. They worked together flawlessly and provided some absolutely spectacular food - and having the pulled pork and bread rolls for midnight munchies was such a good idea!! Our biggest win was over ordering - we had enough food for round 2 the next day, which meant no one (in our varying states) needed to lift a finger to feed the returning mob - something we were all grateful for. The guys at Sitting Ducks were able to provide a great catering service that satisfied my crew of 20 people over the course of a week. Their menu options were able to cover a variety of dietary needs, and the quality of their menu was often spoken highly of during our work days. I threw a surprise birthday party a few weeks ago for my partner’s 30th and got Sitting Ducks to cater. They were incredibly easy to deal with, and so obliging in dealing with the (not straightforward) dietary restrictions of one of my guests. Most importantly the food was delicious! I over-catered but found myself with no leftovers, the food was so good it all got eaten! Will have to throw another party so I have the excuse to get these guys to cater again. See less
