Very expensive and not great quality. Over cooked calamari, tiny piece of grilled fish buried under chips we didn’t order and stuck to the box. Disappointing. See less

Do NOT. I repeat: do NOT use the app ordering system. Go to the counter and save yourself the headache of the inevitable "lost order" and/or "the specials are not listed correctly on the app, as you can see from the specials board around the corner away from view of where 100 of our tables are." It's good though and the staff are lovely. But they should seriously axe the app. See less

Ordered home delivery and I understand that this makes it hard to keep food in the condition it was originally cooked. Had a piece of crumbed fish, battered fish, calamari rings and prawn cutlets. Although the pieces of fish had lost their temperature slightly, due to the time it took to get the order delivered, the batter and crumbs were still relatively crispy, so no major issues there. The chips were slightly soggy, which was expected, so again no problem. The problem was the calamari rings and prawn cutlets. The coating on both was very undercooked and unpleasant to eat. The calamari would've benefitted from the extra cooking time as it was still a bit rubbery. Prawns were fine, but again coating was very undercooked. Not sure if I'll go down the home delivery path again for this type of meal. You live and learn. 3 stars for the benefit of the doubt considering it was my decision to get home delivery. Had this been dished up at the club it would've been 2 stars. See less

Staff were fantastic. Attentive and helpful. We grabbed some lunch and a beer and headed outside to the beer garden for some sunshine. It is clean, and pleasant, I highly recommend. See less

Has menus for Children, fish man baskets, and more. Great food. Come in and get the best fish they can offer. With coffee or tea, or any other drinks. See less

I have tried the battered fish and chips, as well as the battered fish of the day. Both just melt in your mouth but are crunchy on the outside. Just. Perfection. The coffee is pretty good as well and the people there are very nice! See less

Yea not great. Why would anyone spend their membership money to attend a takeaway while you watch bistro food go out cheaper and put on a plate. For the money you are charged it shouldn't warrant grilled fish slopped into a cardboard box swimming in its own oils resembling anything else but fish with a masterfoods tartare sauce floating on top. Salad served in a plastic container that's brown and sludgy and a blank response from staff when asked would they eat it. Very very disappointed. If you offer indoor dining option put the food on a plate. See less

Yummy fish and chips! The batter is crispy and not soggy and the fish tastes very fresh. Servings are generous. You can eat indoors or outside. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Be aware you must be a member or join the Southern Cross Club to eat here, and there is no member discount on fish and chips (but there is on other items from the adjoining cafe or brasserie). Highly recommended! See less
