Visited snappy crab due to all the great reviews below! Unfortunately we were really disappointed... The staff are so lovely but everything was really overdone and so oily (aside from the grilled fish). We barely ate any of the chips because they were so brown, and the fried fish and potato cake was soaked in oil. See less

Some of the best fish and chips I've had in Geelong. Chips were crispy, and the batter on the flake was the perfect thickness. My only complaint is that the gravy was very watery and needed salt. I was pleasantly surprised by how quick my order reached me. I'll definitely order from here again. Oh and in regards to one of the reviews below, potato cakes are deep fried. They're going to be oily, what do you honestly expect? See less

Sadly very disappointed, Fish was more like dried overcooked chicken (4pcs) Potatoe cakes very oily had to use paper towel to try to soak up, $10 chips was about the same amount as minimum that we have previously purchased from other places. Staff were lovely & friendly See less

The absolute best Fish & Chips shop I have ever visited. Would definitely recommend. Their fish was fresh and the batter was super crispy. I suspect that the fish had never been frozen. The fried scallop I had was so tender and perfectly browned. I would revisit every week if it was closer. Great job guys, please keep it up! See less
