Was threatened with physical violence by a representative of the club when I questioned his etiquette in the surf. Rather than protecting swimmers he was endangering them. Asked me to fight him on the beach. Said he liked fighting. 100% came from cammeray and went to shore. Joined the surf club when his 3rd grade rugby career ended. If he has done really well he drove a Porsche suv. Knob. Thought those red and yellows were there to save lives not act like tough guys. Beat it bone heads no one likes you See less

Great people and atmosphere, awesome surf club! South Curly is far from the largest SLSC on the Northern Beaches, it does offer the right challenges for young and old, the place makes you feel at home in an instant. The cafe has good food, great view, busy place. See less

Witnessed a life saver saving a life. 12yr old kid got sucked out and was rescued within a minute. His parents didn't even know until he was back to shore. Great job guys we need you. See less

Visited for a private function. Stunning views over the beach. Bit of a shame they didn't provide any outdoor shade/umbrellas. You have to provide everything yourself except the bar stools. See less

We like coffee here. They serve free range eggs and nice sausages but one day I had corn fritters and they were cold. When I asked to a waitress and she told me it's meant to be cold! At the end I've got warm ones but wasn't happy at all. See less

Great venue for a birthday party or similar. Surrounded by Life saving memorabilia and over looking Curl Curl Beach. Plenty of room inside or out on the terrace to accommodate a large rowdy group of friends and well wishers See less

The cafe has a good food, but i was quite disappointed to find out that neither coconut nor almond milk was available. A staff member told me that it was 'unhealthy'. What?.... Surely it is healthier than dairy or soy milk, especially considering that many people these days are allergic to one or the other (or both). So... will have to go elsewhere to enjoy my twice daily large mocca. The cafe owners don't seem to realise that they are losing thousands of dollars every month by not offering what their patrons excpect. See less
