The food was ordinary. The service was less than ordinary with no friendly interaction. There was no introduction to how to order and what we could order. There were flies everywhere. The seat upholstery was black with dirt. Luckily it was a Scoupon deal. See less

I found this place through the EatClub app, 30% off for dine in. Enjoyed my brekkie roll and mum enjoyed her scrambled eggs and bacon. I found the customer service whilst we were there to be very welcoming and friendly. Really enjoyed the food and my experience here, I didn't leave hungry either which is the main thing. Also took a pizza home to chew on for a afternoon snack, looks and taste great. 👍 See less

I’m live around this area for years but never try this cafe before , so I decided to give it a go but unfortunately the experience was absolutely horrible, we ordered a marinara linguine and a chargrilled scotch fillet. The linguine was full of grease,pasta was over cooked. That’s is not all ! The scotch fillet was bland , sauce was sour that’s fine!! We found a fly in the sauce ! This place never look busy at all , I think I know the reason why now . This cafe is Definitely not recommended . See less

Been for breakfast today with my friend. Best eggs bene i had ever and the pancakes were delicious. The chubby guys served us very professionally he was seems like chef. The way he served was great. Great atmosphere, great service and delicious food. Thanks for serving so politely. Will be back soon for lunch. See less

Ok so I don’t normally leave reviews, but in this case, I have to. Rocked up for breakfast on a Sunday as we thought it would be a nice thing to do for the kids. The place was completely empty which ok that’s cool maybe we were the first ones there. No staff was in the place, all out the back I presume. Finally someone came out an said someone will be out in a sec...so we waited and waited..finally a person came out to take our order to which was told that we couldn’t have coffee as the machine was broken and to choose something else..great a good start. Ordered the meals for everyone which eventually came out and that’s where things took a bad turn. I ordered a spargos breakfast which was missing half of the ingredients stated on the menu, the missus had poached eggs on soggy uncooked toast which was stone cold and uncooked the kids had pancakes which how you screw that up is a bloody mystery really... but again stone cold also and they didn’t want to eat them...seriously avoid this place at all costs.. if I could give it a negative star rating I would. Look at some of the reviews on here and see what I mean. See less

Lad at front desk was not very knowledgeable with drinks, on phone often, did not clear dishes once finished, didn't clean up straight away after customers left. Closed notice was not changed on either doors until pointed out by customer....about 1230!! Till not in place, he looked as if he didn't want to be there. Not rude, just disinterested...thankfully wasn't busy! See less

First of all I have to say that me and my boyfriend are regular costumers here. Staff was usually lovely and no complains about the food either. Until today. 29 December 6 pm. To start, we arrived around 5 20 pm to get a couple of drinks on happy hour. Even the advertisement says it will go until 5 30, the waitress ( assuming is Indian because of her accent) straight away said that happy hour was cut it to 5 pm. We decided to order some food and drinks. Was a steak night (14.95 dollars) and surprisingly we were charged 18 95 for each of them. According to the same waitress they also changed the price without any explanation. But that’s not all. We kept going with our dinner experience and ordered couple of steaks medium rare. At the end it came as well done, dry, hard to swallow even with sauce. After I complained about the bill the waitress stared at our table with the chef non stop. Extremely disappointed. Specially because we were having great experiences with other staff members different than this one. See less

We had Chickwich (Spargos Cafe Anzac Hwy Side Venture) as a Xmas lunch for a staff of 6 via Uber Eats. What we got was one of the worst meals we have all ever had. Aside for VAST appearance difference there where many issues- spicy burgers that had no spice, there was no chips with any of the 6 combo meals, some burgers had bacon that shouldn't have, all burgers should have been fried chicken but instead was soggy pre-grilled chicken from a packet. Onion rings where semi frozen, Burgers with Bacon had none, no burgers came with coleslaw or pickles and the "Milk bun" was a supermarket style standard bun. Price was a premium and the meal was an absolute disgrace. Images are an example of what it should have looked like vs what it was. Avoid at all costs! Also no way of contacting Chickwich so we could never have got our chips in time until we found on the receipt that it was actually Spargo's Café. It was a very disappointing way to finish the year and celebrate everyone's hard work, shame on them. See less

Not very busy at all on Saturday lunch time which wasn’t a great indicator. Our table had not been wiped down properly as it was sticky and when our cutlery was brought out to us, two of the knives looked dirty. Food prices were high! $13.90 for a kids meal! This did not include a drink. Schnitzel was smaller than other restaurants. Chicken focaccia had little chicken in it. Mostly salad. Vienna coffee was very small considering it’s cost. Easy parking, spacious restaurant but we won’t go again. Was much better when it was operating as Primo’s. See less

Attended a 50th birthday event at Spargo’s Cafe and Bar. Awesome service from staff, delicious food in a full on party atmosphere. Great to be able to spend special time with long time friends who I haven’t seen for a few years. Highly recommend this restaurant/bar for private events, dine in and take away.
