We are from Dubbo and I was searching for good Indian restaurants near to Lawson. I found this restaurant. Great food and great service. The staff is really friendly and the taste is very authentic. Spice affair is a best Indian restaurant’s in Canberra.They have a great variety of food as well as they listen what we want and they really fulfil the need of the customer. I am really happy with the taste, quality, customer service and everything. Specially if you’re looking for traditional Indian foods you can keep it as a great option. What a gem of a restaurant. The moment you walk in you are hit with the delicious spice aroma, followed by a very friendly greeting. The staff are attentive, friendly, welcoming and super efficient. The appetisers came out very quickly and were divine. The spring rolls are super crunchy with a soft flavoursome centre. The mains courses arrived not long after the appetiser dishes were taken away. The curries arrived with a very aromatic smell, the meat so tender and plentiful. Will be going back soon! See less

Best Goat dish in Canberra. The mutter paneer was delicious as well. Really loved the Tawa Goat which we asked to be made spicy. First time at this restaurant and I am already impressed with the setting, the ambience and staff friendliness and service. Will return another day. See less

We came here for dinner for the first time tonight. One of the best customer service we have had in a VERY long time. Amit took time to explain the menu to us and make recommendations based on our interests and heat tolerance. The suggestions were excellent, we especially liked the butter naan and coconut rice along with the main meals. Although we don't often have dessert, on recommendations we also tried the gulab jamun which was delicious. We will be back for sure! Its rare to have customer service this great these days. It would not be an exaggeration to say that Spice Affair served the best Indian food my girlfriend and I have ever had. Absolutely delicious, authentic, plentiful, beautifully presented and very well priced. And yet, the biggest highlight of the evening was the service we had received. Tried their Andhra Mutton curry and Eggplant Masala. If you are a fan of spicy food you must try them (you can ask mild too). We ended up with the desert platter and it was fab. The staff was very nice. Highly recommended. See less

An affair I would like to have again!! Yep. :) If you are looking for a very tasty Indian food in the Gungahlin area, this is the place. Indian food kept the Indian way, instead of modernizing n messing up like many other places lately. Quantity was good for the price. That's a win!! Mid size dining area, highly recommended to reserve in advance during peak hours. The service was great, food was brought in the right order n perfect timing. The host stopped by to check mid dining which lot of places doesn't do these days. Good range in the bar, and a toilet facility available too. See less
