Misleading advertisement. I went into the store and they had the poster in store saying Buffet available, but the staff insisted that there would be no refill or any buffet style offering. She then spoke with the next customer and ignored me. Clearly they are not running a honest business. See less

On arrival I wasn't greeted. To order i had to wait as the staff member was preoccupied. There was no friendly interaction between any staff or myself. There was no help given when I was ordering the meal or questions about how spicy I would like my order. I was feeling unwelcomed as a customer and I was wondering if the meal would be a reflection of the rudeness I received. The meal was delicious. But if the staff had offered some customer service the spiciness could have been at a more suitable level to make a great meal. The same unwelcoming and uncaring response from the staff was also given to other customers. I would go back for the food but I will NOT go back to be treated in such rude and no interactive manner. I come to this shop at least 4-5 time per week. Today however, I was asked to speak in English and not the native language by the person at the counter. That's ok I suppose as we should. Then she provided me with less than half of what the container holds. I won't be returning if this is the new attitude. There are other shops around and this is not the only curry shop. See less

Well, After very long time(almost after 1yr) I bought two rice dishes from Spicy flames in Cranbourne...I have to mention that after having those, I caught up with diarrhoea in the same night. Food poisoning!...not only me, my husband as well...so??..This is the 2nd time I have the issue with cranbourne branch,, but this is the first time I'm complaining! I think all spicy flames branches have the same issue... i have lotz of bad food experience about spicy flames in Mount Waverly, "whenever you eat you get stomache problems", even my friends at that time... When I check the reviews here, I noticed that some people had the same food poisoning issue if you read it thoroughly. Guyz, (owners and staff) you need to practise hygiene specially when cooking and serving....take this as a serious issue! See less

The service is not good as you need to put proper staff to do the job or to train the staff properly how to serve the customers. The tables were not clean and one person cannot do all at once. The curry is not enough as we took two portions of hoppers and got chicken curry for one portion.The guy did not give the other stuff which comes with the hopper portion. Very poor quality. The picture shows lovely but in action nothing empty. Better improve as nobody will like to come. Your business will go down if you continue like this. See less

Just went into this place and experienced the worst service. Rude young lady with a bad attitude. Un apologetic when not being able to provide correct change after paying cash. Some of the food was not fresh and was clearly left over from the night before. Truly horrible...avoid. See less

Guys, you need to do better with your portion servings.This is the second time I ordered and got the hot butter cuttlefish and the devils 3/4 full, although you've charged a premium price. If you are charging a premium, please ensure to serve full portions or reduce your price. You are more expensive compared to other takeaways. See less

We were at Spicy flames on Sat 8th FEB: They had $13, all you can eat at one sitting, with many serves, or take away. See the pictures of the spread today: Great authentic Sri Lankan food. Very reasonably priced. Take-away, sit-in and catering is available here. Major shopping centre across the road from Spicy Flame (SP). Plenty of parking space from side road, behind SP, with limited parking on main road side. See less
