We dined on Saturday night and the whole experience was excellent! The staff were polite and attentive and the food was wonderful. For mains I had the lamb shoulder and my wife the venison. My lamb was melt in the mouth and the accompaniments were suited perfectly. We had lime cheesecake and chocolate souffle for dessert. The cheesecake was tangy and the souffle rich. The salted caramel ice cream with the souffle was as smooth as silk. The meal was well worth the money and I would highly recommend Stamps to anyone looking for an elegant night out. See less

Very cosy restaurant. The food was great as was the friendly and efficient service. When we booked we were advised there was no corkage which was a very welcome gesture as almost every group brought their own wine. The fact that every table was occupied clearly shows this is a quality restaurant. See less

An amazing celebration lunch for 22 friends for Geoff's 80th birthday on the 12th january. Fantastic great quality food and very efficient but not intrusive table service. Congratulations to Anita and chefs and staff for making this a very enjoyable occasion. The restaurant is a perfect setting for any special occasion or just when you feel like spoiling yourselves. What an absolute gem. I surprised my husband with a three course dinner here for our anniversary and was blown away by both the charm of this venue and the excellence of their food. Stamps is a small boutique dining experience in the suburbs, which was such a pleasant relief from the larger, more crowded establishments. It is unpretentious, quaint and incredibly romantic. The service was impeccable- two wonderful servers waited on us throughout the night, regularly checking on us and ensuring that our needs were met. We were treated to a free amuse-bouche prior to receiving three unbelievably delicious meals, it truly was a perfect evening. A new favourite for us! See less

Celebrated my mother's 78th Birthday at Stamps. It was my first visit and will definitely not be my last. Food and service were exemplary and I would highly recommend Stamps to anyone who appreciates fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere. A lovely cosy, small restaurant with excellent waiting staff and lovely, fulfilling food. Good wine list. The warmed olives were delicious. The roasted potatoes were nice but could have had more crunch. Random bread roll selection was fun. Recommend making a booking ahead of time. See less

Lovely look and feel to this place. Better when it isn't crowded like we had it that night. Some of the food was fantastic, but they didn't nail everything. E.g. meat was cooked perfectly but the Asian vegetables was limp. Expensive considering it wasn't all good. See less
