I cannot fault this venue as far as all you can eat goes. Not only was the array of food beyond comprehension, it was pretty good, and plentiful. I wouldn’t hesitate to make it a regular stop when I’m in Canberra with family as the variety makes it’s an easy option for kids and adults alike. See less

The Burns Club Star Buffet. Well… what can I say. It’s not often in life you find yourself utterly consumed by not just choice, but quality. It’s my second visit to Canberra in the last six months and yes, you guessed it! I’m back for seconds. Second time around I feel I really found my stride. It’s hard to not be overwhelmed by the large array of cuisines, smells and the brilliant atmosphere, but it’s important to stay calm. Especially because, and I promise you this… you’ll be back! I found isolating your servings to specific international cuisines to be helpful in regards to keeping your head on your buzzing shoulders. I’m saying that though, I couldn’t help myself going back for seconds and loading up on a bevy of flavours and delicious culinary delights, regardless of their geographical origins. All in all, what a world we live in! It’s a true miracle that one can walk in and have such a wonderful, life changing meal at only $33! If you are lucky enough to grace our great capital, walking through the doors of the Burns Club Star Buffet will make your trip! See less

My partner and I just visited The Star for the third time for our first anniversary and we had an amazing trip. I booked a suite thinking we would be getting a spa bath, however I accidentally booked the wrong room. I asked to be moved but all the rooms were booked out on the first day. On the second day I asked again and was served by PANAGIOTA and she was more than helpful. She then asked her supervisor, RACHEL who was more than accommodating. We managed to get the room we wanted and also got a late upgrade. We were also given a free cake and bottle of wine to help celebrate our special anniversary. We were so thrilled! See less

Our second time at this buffet. Was very impressed the first time and this time it didn't disappoint either. The overall dining area is very spacious making it Covid safe.The variety of food will please the most fussy diners. Will definitely recommend if visiting Canberra, just about a 20 min drive from the City Centre. See less

The best buffet I haver ever feast my eyes on excluding the Royal Caribbean liner! Cheap prices, children only $2 per year of age. Staff were polite and efficient in cleaning up the used plates. If they had six stars I would of rated it that. See less

Well catered, a good variety of tasty foods and sweets. The floor staff were very polite and efficient in the supply and refilling of food trays. Also the removal of dirty plates and detritus. An enjoyable lunch all round. See less

For about 35 dollars per person you get an amazing spread of foods from various cuisines and also includes seafood, topped off with bottom-less soft drink. If that's all you want stop reading now, make a booking and go hog. However, If you are looking for finer things like authentic food taste or fine dining experience then look elsewhere. It's not that the food is bad, only that the flavours could've been better. But no complaints here. There's plenty to try and eat before your stomach decides it has had enough. You need have club membership for entry which you can buy for $5 and plenty of parking. Try to come in at noon to avoid crowds and get parking spots. Kids will love it. Fussy eaters simply can't find any excuse to avoid foods. Go soon with you family and friends!! Merry Christmas...!! See less

Efficient staff but no friendly banter or welcome. Food great and more than enough for even the largest eaters. Best range of food I've seen just about anywhere. If Staff had some happiness and outgoing attitude probably would have got 4 Stars. See less
