The sushi is good and they have takoyaki, its just good stuff is give them 5 stars but compared to some places it falls behind just a little maybe its more fitting to say 4.5 See less

Edit: They're open again as of 16/7/20 Absolutely love this place, they do the single best Japanese curry in the Woden area. Nothing holds a candle to this wonder establishment. However, I do have one grievance with this place; they closed for covid (fair enough) and my colleague and I (who work in the centre) were gutted and preying that they wouldn't stay shut. About a week or two ago, a week before eofy, they put up a sign that said that they'd be back on July 1st. My colleague and I literally counted the days down until we could have the curry again after months of deprivation. Come 2nd of July (first day I worked after the return) on my way into work I saw no sign, I was thinking "thank christ, they're back". But as lunch time rolled around I started walking over but noticed that they had no lights on. They were still shut. As of Sunday (5/7/20) they were still not open and no sign to be seen. I prey that they open soon because I'm not sure how much longer my colleague and I can go without their curry. Please sushi island come back, we need you. See less

Only once did I get bad service, no one was at the counter. But they have the best deal with Sushi rolls and I am very satisfied. I love going to Sushi Island and try and go every Friday. I love you Sushi Island!! See less

Horrible food and service. Ordered kat su don...and got stale smelly chicken piled on top of plain rice...the only taste was of salt that too after waiting for about 25 mins with me being the only customer in shop. See less

New Sushi place that has been open for a little bit now - took over the alterations joint. First initial thought was it was going to be cheap and tasty however I was surprised that they had a 4 rolls for $10.00 deal for lunch. Grabbed 1 Spicy Prawn, Tuna avacado, Spicy chicken, normal chicken. They were actually really good! Plenty of seating and have the option of getting an ordered meal - prices are clearly displayed on the board as well. See less
