The old local shop, a friend who has no idea what a quality potato cake looks like reckon the customer service is awesome . TBH, I've never been, but it's bound to be better than the overpriced, overrated Blue. Don't go there, try Sussex instead. See less

Fish is always perfectly cooked as requested. Scallops, potatoe cakes and chips are fresh and crispy!! Girls on counter are always bright, chirpy, efficient and friendly. Great for a giggle too!! A great place that is now a regular take away stop for me. Highly, highly recommended!! See less

cannot fault this place! we tried sussex seafood once and have eaten there religiously every wednesday night since discovering it. YUM. I know my fish n chips and can confidently say this joint does an amazing job! fish is meaty, and battered crispy, calamari tastes fresh. large portion sizes etc. solid 5/5 stars. very lovely service as well. thanks guys See less

I have never left a review before but today I was blown away by how good these fish and chips where. The fish was the freshest and most generous size grilled fish I have ever had at a fish and chip shop. Clean crisp chips and a nice salad to top it all off. Also they were very quick which is great for a work lunch break. Keep it up. There is not many fish and chip shops left like this. See less
