I have been a coeliac since 2005. I have tried gluten free fish at perhaps 8 different restaurants in this time across Victoria. Sweet Salt is hands down the BEST! It's so good that you can't even tell it's gluten free! My partner (not coeliac) eats it and loves it. The staff at Sweet Salt are so friendly and helpful. We've been here 10+ times and never had a mix up or issues with gluten free! They take their responsibility seriously. love this cafe! The owner David is a wonderful human. Thanks Sweet Salt. If you’re looking for GF/coeliac approved or just delicious fish and chips, then this is your place! The batter was so thin and crispy and wasn’t greasy whatsoever. The staff were so friendly and kind, being very mindful of cross contamination with a seperate fryer. Cannot recommend more! P.s don’t forget to try a donut! See less

My partner with Coeliacs and I love going to Sweet Salt. They have separate fryers etc. for their gluten free food, the staff are always really friendly and knowledgeable and the food is delicious. Such a huge range of gluten free options that just keeps growing. Yesterday we tried their gluten free donuts and oh they are amazing, I don't usually like gluten free donuts but these were incredible. Can't wait to go back and try the gluten free waffles with gluten free ice cream, we'll have to share a meal though to make sure we have room for the waffles. See less

I have never been to any good fish and chip shop until I saw this restaurant. We ordered 2 lunch meals and they turn out pretty good. We love the grilled chicken as it is cooked very properly and nice taste. The quantity is huge and the quality is perfect 👌. The environment is very nice and staffs are friendly too.
