Extremely unhappy with the customer service, waiters were very rude and unfriendly. We waited 45 minutes before I asked where our food was at (as people who arrived after us started to get their food). The waiter told us there was a problem but continued to serve the same food to others. It took over an hour of waiting before our food arrived. Only saving grace is the food was okay. Ordered goat curry with No capsicum or verges .but got goat curry with capsicum..Rang back and told the waitress that I ordered goat curry not whatever she chose to give me and she insist that it was my fault.Anyway talked to the owner who agrees to change but I need to pick up .got got curry in soup and no flavour .4 PCs of goat in soup!! Also today ordered food was told 45 mins to 1 hr.waited 2hrs .rang them and I was told I never ordered Mede me drive back !what a shame .business going diwn See less

It is really difficult to find good authentic Indian food around in Canberra. But this place is one of those few gems that provides good authentic Indian food. You’ll fall in love with spices, the food and the presentation of the food. The ambience is quite nice as well. It really feels like home whenever I’m eating at Taj Agra. See less

I had dinner here last night and ordered the tandoori chicken and it was nothing like I have had in other Indian restaurants. It was dry and looked like some red colour has been slapped on it. The chicken biryani was so oily and when I looked at the bottom of the plate it was sliding around the plate in oil. It was not enjoyable at all, the food quality was low and looked like there was no pride out put into the food. I think when you own a restaurant quality assurance is important before very plate goes out. The only thing that was ok was the naan and this butter chicken was liked by my daughter. I wouldn't go here again. See less

3.9 stars from me. I ordered a tandoori chicken and the chicken was not hot inside. The marination was not so tasty. Chilli chicken had too much salt in it. I would recommend butter chicken, chicken chettinand and garlic naan, which is the best of all. Mango lassi, is good 👋. Place is vibrant and service is good. Good customer service. The actually let us in for dining as late as 9:15pm when they were about to close. So 5 stars for service but 4 stars only for quality of food. The chicken wasn't tender at all and looked rushed up for cooking. See less
