slightly hidden away in springvale on centre road serving up humble foods from borneo definitely a good little find and restaurant when you want to get away from all the viet food in springvale the beef curry was delicious and the broth from the sabahan laksa was delicious beautiful spot for your south east asian flavours See less

Tried the takeaway nasi lemak with chicken curry, $25.60 in total including delivery. The rice wasn't flavourful enough, and they gave very little sambal, anchovies and kacang. 😢 The curry was pretty good though, hopefully I'll come back and try some other dishes next time. See less

Eggplant sambal was very nice. Fish could be a little more cooked. Prawns has a funny tasting topping. I guess next time we will go for fried prawns only. Nice cozy atmosphere. Halal. Chicken ribs were delicious. Serving size was very generous. Good finding! See less

I rarely give any restaurant 5 stars for the food. But this is the exception! We had nasi lemak chicken, Mee goreng, laksa, Borneo chicken ribs with creamy sauce. The flavours hit all the right notes. We also ordered the cincau and Bandung drinks which came in almost jug sized mugs. Decor reflect the roots of the establishment - Borneo Kampung restaurants. Indoor and outdoor seating available. It also appears to be a popular hangout for Malaysians judging by the conversation - brings back many memories. Musical choice add to the ambience. We left completely satisfied having done justice to the chef's efforts. A sure winner and most certainly coming back with friends. See less

Malaysian Borneo cuisine in a casual dining experience. Featuring a range of popular fare from Borneo. The Mamak Mee Goreng was nice, as was the Sabah Laksa Noodles. The Borneo Chicken ribs with rice was tasty and well prepared. For a treat, ask for the Teh-C Special, a local drink not on the menu. Will come back. See less

Authentic Malaysian dishes at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Must try the pipi sambal and Borneo chicken ribs. Drinks and ice desserts very huge glass! See less
