Waited at the front for quiet a whilebefore we could even get into the door, when it was our turn to book in we were told to wait while someone already seated came back for what ever reason. Not overly busy with customers but waited ages for our food and drink. Used to enjoy coming here for lunch but there seems to have been a change in some staff and it reflects in the service See less

Breakfast was great. We had a lovely young waitress called Talia, she was a breathe of fresh air. However the lady at The front reception was very rude. Not a good experience for the initial entrance. So happy that Talk a was there with a smile.the front door See less

Excellent experience all round. Great service and very tasty food. We turned up here on Mother's Day and they were very accommodating. Even though they were extremely busy they managed to make a table available. The service was warm and professional. The prices were reasonable and the food arrived within 15mins of ordering. The serving sizes are generous and all the food was delicious. See less

We arrived mid-morning and seated inside within a couple of minutes, there is also a deck if you wish to sit outside. The coffee and chai latte were absolutely perfect! Being new to having an intolerance to lactose we ordered the coffee with lactose free milk but unfortunately forgot to consider the milk that's in the chocolate dusted on top. Our rookie mistake, that we realised part way through the coffee. Surprisingly the lovely ladies made us a new coffee without charge, a latte this time, and brought it to our table with a huge smile and apology. This service alone was above and beyond and greatly appreciated. We ordered the big breakfast and the scones with jam and cream, they did not disappoint! If you are looking for an eclectic country-style cafe with great service and delicious well-priced food then this is the place to be. We also noticed there is enough room for a wheelchair or prams and is child friendly with colouring-in and a high-chair if needed. We will most definitely be returning. See less

Louise and the staff were excellent. They were very welcoming and friendly. Louise even gave us a map of wineries to visit and provided us her recommendations of wineries that will give beginners a good first experience to the hunter region. The food and drinks were delicious. The curly fries and the roast beef gravy sandwich were simply the definition of comfort food. The ploughman platter is also a great choice for weary travellers on the lookout for a hearty meal. See less

The lady in the front accommodating the customers was quite rude. I thought it was with the covid situation going on that she was strict with getting the customers distances kept by 1.5m apart... But she was rude with how she talked to one of the food servers. He was about to serve drinks but couldn't find the table, went to the lady, but with a stern rude voice she told him, "What do you do if you can't find the customers!" I was in utter shock that I didn't hear the rest of what she said. I once worked as a waitress so I felt for the guy. I didn't enjoy eating after that, to make things worse, my partner almost swallowed a fly from his beer. 😤 I wanted to complain be he asked me not to as it will not solve anything co we've seen what kind of character the lady has that was in in charged.
