Ordered food through Uber the meat is dry and there is a hair in my food I want my money back they want me to go through Uber but Uber isn’t responding when I called to complain the old man in the background started screaming and and abusing the lady on the phone DO NOT EAT HERE See less

First time ordering food from this place. We ordered a Traditional Beef Pide which was supposed to contain 'marinated beef mince, onions and parsley'. What we got was a pide with shaved (chopped up) kebab meat with cheese and onions. Although the pide base tasted nice the shaved kebab meat ruined it for me. We also got the Falafel Plate, the falafel weren't too bad but the tabouleh salad was very average and consisted mainly out of chopped parsley stems and some chopped tomatoes from at least a day old. Wouldn't recommend this place. See less

Terrible food quality and value for money. Kebabs were mostly lettuce and onion and did not appear to have the sauce I ordered at all. Can't believe we paid as much for what we got. Other Turkish restaurants have better quality food and at lower prices. It's rare for me to feel disappointed enough to leave a bad review but there you go. See less

Delicious food! I rate the kebab as the best in Canberra with the meat cooked to perfection and the other ingredients really fresh. Very clean place as well. You can see into the kitchen which is a big plus in my opinion, and the food hygiene is exceptional. Very short wait as my food was prepared almost immediately. I'm really impressed and will definitely be eating here on a regular basis. See less

Have recently been regular Deliveroo customers of Taste Turkish. The 2 kebabs (chilli and humus) we had delivered tonight we're mislabeled, which almost caused an issue as my wife has bad reactions to chilli. Why has the kebab garlic sauce been dropped from the menu? See less

It was discussing the food was burnt and the owner was so abusive when we complaied to the point that his daughter asked and pleaded with him to stop. Took photos of the food returned it straight after it was delivered and they refused to give us a refund. Bad all round See less

Ordered the vegetarian banquet during the weekend and it's really good value! The only comment that I have is that the food in general can be less salty. If it's less salty, I think it will be really much better. They provide friendly service so that's a plus! See less

Won’t try to order from here again. Tried ordering through the Eat Appy app and it didn’t work so I called and the young girl who answered and she was so bloody rude and had so much attitude. I told her I wanted to order by card over the phone but apparently you still haven’t moved out of the 19th century and can’t pay with card over the phone! She told me to order though the app which I told her wasn’t working, she then said ‘well I dunno then’ and silence? You should really think about hiring people with decent customer service skills because all it takes is for one rude person behind the counter and people like myself won’t return. Either train her or get rid of her because small things like that will drive away customers. See less

Ordered online and was told that the order would be delivered within 45 minutes. Well over an hour later I call and am told that they've cancelled the order. Apparently, they never noticed their app was down and that an order was there. The kicker was that they said they'd discovered this nearly 10 minutes before but didn't bother to call us. Also, the store was now closed and we'd need to come in in person another day to get a refund. See less

If quantity is what you are after then this place sells one of the largest HSP's available in Canberra at a good value. Despite its size it still does have a decent flavour and i would return to have another as this is one few can finish. See less

Excellent value and quality. The mixed meat kebab I had was huge and tasty. I had it at about 2.30pm and simply did not bother with dinner! Very friendly proprietor. See less

Terrible service. They told me 40 mins for takeaway... I arrived after 40 mins and had to wait for another 40 mins. I normally don't say anything but on this occasion when collecting my food stated that it was not the best first impression. Rather than apologising, the younger lady giving me my food absolutely cracked it giving me a filthy look and pretty well threw the food at me. Unbelievable. We used to get the old owners food weekly which was always amazing. disappointed we can't do this anymore... won't be going back. See less
