My wife and I dropped in to this restaurant for the first time tonight. Impromptu booking really. Staff were lovely, polite and accommodating. I early didn't go there because I felt the pictures of their meals didn't look that great, but the food was excellent. Taste and presentation was as good as any other quality Thai restaurant we'd been to in Canberra. The facilities were modern, and clean and the ambiance wasn't ruined by needlessly loud music. Prices were within Canberra realms in general. Finally, and I'll note we were booked for 5:30 pm on Friday night, the meals came out quite quickly. Very difficult to find any fault with Thai Herb. Thanks to the wonderful staff for a great first experience. Definitely our new go-to Thai. See less

Thai herb restaurant use to be very good with their services but unfortunately they have become very unprofessional in their communication and especially food services. Myself and my sister have had multiple wrong orders given to us despite us clearly communicating with them our food allergies. Am not sure if they understand the consequences of serving or delivering the wrong food with people that have food allergies. I ask myself if someone goes into an anaphylactic reaction would they be responsible for the consequences of their action See less

What’s happened to this place, used to be cheap priced food and SUPER tasty. Now the price is way too high and the food quality is either dry or over cooked. Disappointed in the dine in experience, as the company now has a million take away orders constantly. I say drop the dine in and expand kitchen to have take away only. Bring back the quality again. We had a nice place outside covered dinning very private and service is good plus they from time to time check if everything is ok. The owner is really nice and friendly making sure we are really looked after. He really insist that we get a take away bag for easy handling of 4 take away container. Food is very good! We have been a customer here from the first time they opened up at the Lake to here in Harrison. 15 years! This only shows that they are the best not only in food but also in customer relations! Came here tonight to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and my father’s birthday with our family. Have been here before and loved the food so came back to bring my family. Food was spectacular, I swear even better than last time 😀 what really made our evening though was the owner taking time out of his evening to have a chat and a bit of a laugh with our family. One of the first restaurant i tired in ACT, i’ve got mixed reviews about this restaurant.The restaurant was quite busy both times we went. We ordered few dishes, i was quite disappointed when i got the stir fried pork but there was no skin and it was rather like curry, i was also disappointed by the fried ice cream because that literally tasted like dough. Went there for the second time, i loved the tom yum soup definitely got a large bowl of that and I finally got the crispy pork belly and it was Yum ! I was very happy that day. See less

I've been to Thai Herb more than 10 times and food and service is consistently good. Duck pancake( entree), soft shell crab, steamed fish, papaya salad.... All good staples. Great for takeaway. Sometimes crowded, but that's a reflection of its popularity. See less

These guys deserve six stars. What can I say, the service is great the food is dangerously good. I went there for lunch the first time with my wife and some clients and was so impressed. Two days later we traveled from the other side of Canberra to have lunch again today. Again it was sensational. The only problem is that every time I come to Canberra I’ll need to go a bit out of my way to eat there again and again. Thank you guys for the best Thai I think I have ever had. See less

Ordered takeaway on a Friday night. Great choices. Fresh. Delivery was a long wait (90 mins but told ahead that it would be this long) but worth the wait. Food was fresh and hot when arrived and good amounts of meat in each dish. Prices are a bit high but apparently that's Canberra takeaway prices. For what we got I would recommend as I enjoyed it. Nice Thai restaurant in the suburb of Franklin. A range of dish options and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are friendly and responsive. The wait times were quite long for our dishes and some of the flavours were not quite balanced, for example the soup was very sour and fried rice lacked any distinct flavour.
