Have eaten there before and had takeaway,has always been great.Sadly my experience this week was just the opposite. Phoned in order to pickup at 7.00.the guy answering the phone taking the orders was very unsure of what he was doing.He called back straight away to say there was no beef,ok,not a problem arrived to collect order was incorrect and more expensive than originally quoted,his explanation was that he is just learning!!I took it anyway arrived home to find the food was luke warm and still missing an item.Please lift the standard to what we are accustomed to. Ate here with 4 adults, 2 young children. Food was excellent, sauces very tasty, with good serving sizes. Really good Larb Gai, Choo Chee Prawns, red curry beef and chicken cashew stir-fry. We also had entrees, and our 2 young grandchildren enjoyed their chicken fried rice. Very happy with service. ☺️👍 See less

First time I have tried here. Hands down the best green curry I have tried in the area (not the soup like consistency I have had elsewhere). Stir fry was full of crunchy vegetables and delicious. Delivered hot. Will be ordering again. See less

The vegetarian dish I got was pretty ordinary. It was lightly cooked veggies with a peanut sauce drizzled over them. Bland and monotone. A main meal needs more substance than this. For what it was, the dish was way overpriced. However the Pad Thai which my partner ordered was excellent. See less

Been a while between visits but last nights food and experience was well worth the wait. We were made to feel very welcome and not rushed. The food was spot on - serve size is good. Great flavour and lots of veg in the dishes to match the rest of the dish. The meat was tender in all three dishes. Won't leave it as long next time. See less

My wife and I had a delivery. Planning to have a nice dinner on the beach, the restaurant did not include cutlery in the bag... so we had to leave the beach and head home quickly to eat. The prawns in the green curry had no texture (frozen prawns?) but the curry's taste was ok. The second dish was good and the coconut rice was alright but we had better ones before. See less

Thai Rose Restaurant. An elegant restaurant with interesting decor. The food was great, perhaps the best coconut rice i have had. Unfortunately, the wait was an hour. But it worked to their advantage as me and my acquaintances built up an appetite and ended up ordering more. Great experience with welcoming staff. Thank you Thai Rose. See less

My favourite Thai restaurant by far!!! The food is always cooked to perfection every single time! The Pad Thai portion is pretty large so you definitely get your moneys worth and it's always so full of flavour. I celebrated my 18th birthday here many years ago with about 15 friends and the staff went to such great effort to make sure everything was running smoothly and that the food came out quickly. They also very kindly stored my cake in their kitchen and allowed me to decorate the place with balloons. It was truly a fantastic experience. Thank you again! Emma xx See less

Disappointing night at Thai Rose! Been going to this restaurant for at least 15 years and spent seven New year’s eve dining there. We waited over an hour after ordering our meals after being told Gluten free option was available. Over an hour later Sorry we can’t do your order gluten free…….. Perhaps a bit sooner to tell us would have been nice! No sorry… So we walked! Respect you good customers or they don’t come back! I was kind with the stars on past performance only! See less

Lovely food, well presented. Friendly service and affordable prices. Nice decor too. Pity about the stairs being so steep. I am somewhat frail and i wouldnt want to be caught in an emergency escape from the upstairs room. PS Also has a nice view of the bay. See less

Great little spot and very tasty Thai food. Its not the biggest restaurant for eat in so make sure you book and if your getting take away make sure you give yourself plenty of time it gets very busy. See less
