We had lunch on national pretzel day and it was an interesting experience. We booked ahead of time using the online booking which was great and super easy. We arrived and were a bit surprised at the prices, we're used to paying $15 for a schnitzel in Canberra but they were charging $32! We decided to pass and instead got pretzels, chicken tenders and chilli squid to share, we also ordered our $1 Donut pretzels with the promise they would come out after we finish our meals.
The food arrived quickly and was very well cooked. The pretzels were nothing exciting sadly but still ok but the chicken tenders were great!
Sadly our dessert arrived a few minutes after our mains and we felt a bit rushed. They were nice when we got to them but a bit cold.
When we were finished, I asked a waiter how we pay for our meal and I was told to go to the bar. I stood in line with everyone ordering their food which took some time and when I went to pay they had overcharged us by $20. Theres also a sneaky card surcharge that we were not told about and didn't see written anywhere until I received the receipt. The settling of the bill process could definitely be improved.
The food was good but pricey. Atmosphere was great and the music was at a perfect level. See less
