The food is spectacular and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. My parents and I come here often and the experience is always amazing and we have a such a memorable time. The staff are very friendly and entertaining, especially Amy, Alice and Joy, and props to Amy tonight as she set up our table for tonight and has been very entertaining and making us laugh. We celebrated our son’s 2nd birthday at Broadwalk and I’m glad I booked this restaurant. We had 20 guests and the service was exceptional, from booking confirmation to menu selection. Our waiter (sorry, forgot your name) was so accomodating and friendly, and the other waitresses was very helpful too. Food was delicious and fulfilling and cocktails made our night! Excellent authentic Italian style pizza emphasising on the crust and minimising topping. Long wait on the phone for ordering pick up. Looked like a good vibe for dining in. Premium price per pizza but well worth it. See less

Came here for the first time for dinner and I am so happy we did. It's very hard to find good authentic food and it's great that we now have a place just around the corner. Amazing pizza, great atmosphere and view and one of the front of house staff (the lady with a bob cut, sorry didn't catch her name) Was absolutely wonderful. Will for sure come back frequently and can't wait to try the pasta! See less

The best place to have a meal. You can have it outside with view of the lake or inside. Thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered which are: pizza, salmon and pork spare ribs. See less

Let’s be clear, the pizza was of great quality and the restaurant interior looks amazing. But the price especially on takeaway is killer, we were charged $69.02 for an over the phone order of 2 pizzas and entre of meatballs. Quite pricey all things considered. No we didn’t get any seafood or anything really special. See less

This indeed is the by far best pizza on this side of the town. Family-friendly and with a pleasant waterside location this has now become our go-to Italian restaurant. Ordered a pizza, polenta chips and calamari salad. Each dish was exceptional. The pizza had a thin base and a moderate amount of ingredients, hard to go wrong when cooked in the wood oven.  We never had polenta chips before but that was also delicious when dipped in blue cheese side dip that came with it. Last but not least calamari was very tender and delicious. Most of the staff seemed to be Italian which creates even more of that authentic feel. If you are looking for an Italian eatery you can't go wrong with The Boardwalk. See less

The pizza was delicious and the cocktails were just as good. The table service has area for improvement though. Our first round of drinks didn’t come and we constantly had to get the waiters attention to order more. If these issues were sorted it would be a hands down 5 star venue for food and service. Tonight we had the most lovely experience and meals here. We booked last minute for a large party, and ordered entree, mains, desserts drinks and coffee. They were so patient, kind and the seafood was to die for! Beautifully presented foods, and really friendly staff. Customer service was incredible too. The only thing I’d say is the steak wasn’t great, but out of the 3 courses for 7 people plus drinks, if this is the only thing that wasn’t perfect I’d say that’s pretty good :) Thanks so much guys, we will be back! Hands down the best pizzas in Caroline Springs, dare I say, in the west of Melbourne. Consistent quality and service accompanied by good prices, what more can you ask for? Will have to try their pastas as well to give n updated and more thorough review but their pizzas are great. The pizza base holds up well without being too chewy or crispy. Quality of ingredients are great and seasoned just right. See less

Finally an authentic Italian restaurant has arrived in our area. I have travelled through Italy many times and my Father is from Naples Italy, so my first visit today took me right back to eating great food in Italy. I would have to say these guys have nailed it! High quality, fresh and very generous portion sizes with reasonable pricing. The atmosphere of the restaurant is high class and the staff are very professional. Can’t wait to come back! See less

I originally rated 1 star, not because of the food (which is very nice and delicious), but because of the poor service the last time I visited. I wasn't going to come here again but my wife dragged me along to give them another chance. I'm so glad she did, as the area manager (Alice) remembered my last visit and the "issues" we had and made sure that this visit was excellent. She was very warm and friendly even remembered what the problem was last time and rectified it this time without me even having to mention anything about the last visit. Highly recommend it for great Italian food. See less

Today I had a chance to have a dinner. Massive indoor and outdoor seating arrangement, outdoor arrange with the lake view. I think cafe need a bigger menu for this scale of venue however just started hence it is ok. Very tasty pizza 🍕 See less
