Meals are of a high quality and cooked well but be prepared to not make any changes to your dish. I wanted to remove mash from a dish and replace with chips. I was told they could remove the mash but I would have to pay an additional $10.50 to add a bowl of chips! I didn’t think the request was that unreasonable but apparently it’s just not that easy. Great little club. Golf course is awesome. Beer garden has good vibes. Local beers on tap. The bistro though… Consistently average. Which is odd as I believe they’re the same caterers as The Duxton, where the food is consistently good. If they put a little more effort into the quality of food coming out of that kitchen, it would be one of the best clubs in the ACT. See less

It's just an alright bar and bistro. Steak night is always good. Nothing to rave about, but you know, if you want a bite to eat and something to drink, this place will satisfy that requirement. There is a nice view from the deck and they have a beer garden. See less

Poor service . Asked for a child's meal to have vegetables instead of chips and was told " it's not our fault your child doesn't eat chips " . Was informed it was an extra $4 to swap out . Also asked if with an adults meal we could swap the vegetables with chips to be told it would be $9 . Honestly will never consider going there again for a meal . See less

Food was good (steak, salad and chips) as was the service. However what needs to be addressed immediately was how filthy the chairs were. Stains were clearly evident all over the seats at the table we were at which cheapened what was an othwise enjoyable evening. See less

Food is great, no doubt. Staff also top notch. View was brilliant but slowly being replaced by a vista of suburbia, shame. The building itself reminds me of a demountable though, let's the experience down a bit. Still missing Magpies at Kippax.... See less

Very generously sized pub style meals. There is a stunning view over the Brindabella mountains. Food was delivered quickly and the steaks were cooked perfectly to order. There is also a surprising amount of gluten free options. Parking, entry and seating is wheelchair friendly. See less

Had a very pleasant coffee and cake here for morning tea. Lovely views over the golf course and to the mountains. Modern looking club ambience, service was about slower than normal as someone was learning, we all have to do that sometime. See less

Gorgeous decor and views over the mountains. Fantastic Antipasto and Cheese Plate. Bistro and Bar staff were so welcoming. We bought our dog who also got a treat from the lovely lady at the bistro. Rug Up and enjoy this top spot on a Sunday afternoon to enjoy the fresh Canberra winter weather. Will definately be back See less

Great food - HUGE servings. Value for money. I wasn't very hungry so I bought off the Extras menu thinking Snacks: a Cheese Platter plus Sweet Potato Chips. Both would have served 5-6 people each for a snack. Left all except one of the chips, and munched on take home yummy cheese for a couple of days. Big downer - very warm March day... big flies everywhere inside the club. We spent more time shooing them than we did talking!! See less

Wait staff were so lovely and accomodating but unfortunately it didn't make up for the terrible food. I would add another star for the spectacular location if I hadn't have needed to request a replacement for my burned, dry 'medium' steak. The only saving grace was the kids cheeseburger. Below par. The setting of the club is absolutely stunning. The staff are attentive and and down to earth. HOWEVER the clubs restaurant food is tasteless and bland not to mention overpriced. Mr/Mrs Chef please put some seasoning flavours into your dishes, they look good on the plate but its not all about the look is it but the flavour too. See less
