It was a really bad experience on my last visit. The cake was good. But the customer service was not up to the mark. They didn't have any plastic bags for 30 cents (said finish) so I had to get a $2 bag. When I am paying $36 for a cake why should the customer pay $2 for the bag ? When I asked the question he said please query that with the cheese cake head office. Maybe set up a customer friendly rule, when 30 cents plastic bag not there give the $2 bag for plastic bag Price. Please note Woolies and other places this $2 bag here cost 20 cents :) See less

We go to this joint often. Last week we ordered a rainbow cake with a spiderman image for our oldest son's seventh birthday. The cake was so awesome a lot of people took a second slice saying they cannot resist it. Hardly anything was left at the end of the party. We are very happy with the store at Torrensville. See less

I bought a cake, but when I was going out I saw the label and realised it is not fresh. 3days to expire. I asked them to change it for me, but they refused because I left the store, but I didn't. I was still in the store and it took less than a minute since I paid for it that I realised. The quality is generally good though, See less

Don't like buying cakes anymore from here. They no longer cover the outsides of their cakes with the nuts. I understand that you need to cut costs and worry about people who have a nut allergy. But, if I am buying a pecan coffee cake, I expect to have nuts on the outside, because I am purchasing a nut based cake. But the staff are fabulous. See less

Came in with my family to order a unicorn cake, friendly staff were very helpful. Daughter loved it and it looked amazing! Tempted to have a vegan slice of cake which was amazing too, nicely packed, free forks and very sanitised environment. Coffee wasn’t the best in the world but still very good. Ordered last minute a custom birthday cake for my son's 18th. The baker at the torrensville shop went over and above in delivering exactly what I wanted. Our Company celebrates birthdays for over 100 employees and our local Cheesecake Shop never fails to provide fabulous cakes on a regular basis. I have been coming here for the last 4 years and the service is always 5 star. Nothing is too much trouble. We are now getting cakes delivered, as our Company is growing too large. They will personalise the cakes for you too if you like and I think my favourite is the caramel mudcake! Great work! See less

Marble chocolate cheesecake...heavenly! Highly recommend the Black Forest cake too, very lovely. Good deal - $4.50 for coffee & cake too. Coffee wasn't amazing but it was by no means awful, just average. The value is great though. See less
