Deep fried, fatty, carb driven menu. Even the slightly healthier caesar salad option was swimming in a ridiculous amount of dressing. Sorry Vikings Erindale, take a leaf out of your Chisholm Club menu which has some much better options. See less

Ive given this place 3 chances because I have kids and they like clubs with play areas, but the food is basically inedible every time. Everything is greasy or burnt or tough... even simple things thay seem hard to stuff up. The potato mash tastes like packet powdered potato. See less

Look I have given the erindale Vikings bistro several chances since the refurbishment and I am still disappointed. What really ruined it for me was an incident last Saturday in which I ordered a vegetarian dish on the specials board ... arachini balls. I checked the description and no where did it mention that chicken was in this dish... needless to say I was very distressed when I discovered chicken in my meal. The staff were very apologetic though and my meal was completely refunded which was nice of them. And another postive note is that the service is always amazing at the cookery bistro and grill. The red headed manager lady always goes above and beyond for every customer! The menu is very limited and the wait times can be pretty bad on a Friday or Saturday night... But once again would like to mention the great customer service by the staff. See less

If you are looking for a venue for a special occasion then look no further than Vikings Erindale. We had our Daughter's Engagement Party (Cocktail style Event) in the Brick and Basil area of the club and could not have been more pleased. The Cookery Staff went over and above. More than meeting our expectations, which I might add is not easy as I have worked in various hospitality establishments, including 4 to 5 Star Hotels. The area was set up beautifully and staff went out of their way to ensure that we were happy. Front of House staff were excellent especially Deb, the manager. The food was nothing short of excellent!! The Chefs on the night should be congratulated!! There is nothing better than hearing your guests complement your choice of venue, service and food. I was so glad that we made the decision to have this very special event there! :) See less

This is quite possibly the worst food i’ve ever tasted. Ordered the Pork a Belly and Seafood Basket. Both meals were terrible and were so bad we could not eat them. They used the same mash, frozen peas as their $7 roast special. Yuck!! See less

If you are looking for great food and good ambiance, don't come here. I was here 16 months ago and I had forgotten how bad it was. This is nothing more than a bistro. It is not a restaurant. I was visiting from melbourne, and took my mother and her sister from Sydney out for a relaxing dinner. We couldn't hear ourselves talking for the loudspeakers announcing the draw for the raffle. It seemed to go on forever. When the drawer was finally finished, we had to put up with loud, meaningless dribble from the announcer until he had run out of ways to say goodnight. I sent the rare steak back because it was cold. It came back in two minutes barely warmer than before. I didn't finish it because it was soon stone cold. The vegetables, in contrast, were over-cooked. As before, I had to go to three different cahiers to pay for food, drinks and coffee and tea later on. The bar was miles away. On the plus side, the woman on reception was extremely helpful and friendly when signing us in. The bar staff were friendly and efficient. The fish and chips were quite tasty and well cooked. I dine here almost everyday and I find it excellent. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is always well cooked and presented. Not overpriced and their specials change regularly. Great place to bring the kids too. See less

Really good value. The food is pretty good too with some interesting specials. The kids meals are okay if a bit disappointingly of the nuggets and chips variety. Staff are great: well informed and friendly without being too matey. There's a small kids play area. Book on busy nights. See less

Great for a coffee or a meal, Kutas offers a great selection of meal choices along with cafe style burgers, sandwiches etc. The staff are good and approachable which is a bit rare these days. Do yourself a favour and drop in to taste the food of the award winning chefs. See less
