Gorgeous location right on the water. Nice spot for a coffee or light lunch. The dirty chai latte was delicious. If the weather is cool they even have lap blankets. Food was ok, but the location is amazing & staff very friendly- Space for children to play on grass or paddle / fish in the water too. See less

It's an okay cafe, been there twice now. It's in prime position due to close proximity to the boat launch. But the food is general food. The most popular meals had there are the hot dog, and the fish and chips. Must say both are good quality but the hotdog is definitely better. The only issue that was had, was today with the limited food options. This was due to the chief being out. By the end of lunch all the food was basically gone. See less

Very high standard of food with their chef arranging a compact menu that covers all bases. Nice to know they are owned by a family that has been on KI for generations. What a view out over the water. Booking recommended at peak times, Christmas, Easter etc. Impeccable attentive service, my favorite dishes well....I guess any of their fish, however they make probably the BEST Hamburger I have had, juicy, full of flavor on a toasted brioche bun that has been perfectly toasted and cleverly protected from liquid by a layer of melted cheese keeping the bread basically from getting soggy till the last bit, well done. Makes you wonder why everyone is not using this smart method? So if you want a meal with a view, this a 100% perfect spot! With the equal best chips I have ever had, with Penfolds Magil Restaurant many years ago, and outstanding coffee. See less
