Great local pub when the big games aren’t on (unless that’s your thing, then you’d love it) Several vegan items on the menu including vegan pizza which I had without the vegan cheese. Staff are always friendly, there’s lots of seating outdoors and a function room upstairs. See less

If you feel like going for a cheeky drink and a sneaky feed I'd suggest going to Red Rooster in kambah ! At least you won't pay with your first born child ! I've eaten better food at doughnut King and left feeling more satisfied. See less

Great place to watch the footy. Huge area and a few provate parties and tooms going on at the same time but we never were overcrowded. I wish I could remember her name but I think she was a duty manager on just before the raiders match v manly last week was amazing. Accommodating, hard working and professional. The food was surprisingly upmarked. The kingfish ceviche and the beef carpaccio were amazing starters. The beer selection was large but disappointingly no sours. Maybe next time. See less

We were very happy to be told the kitchen is open til 10pm so we ordered a "Pisa Pizza" on a gluten free base that was so delicious we were disappointed that we'd ordered so late that we couldn't have another! I love the modern pub feel of the place, and staff are great; just an all-round great vibe! Well done to all there! See less

Great venue for both a relaxing drink. Meals are great with good options in steak and pizzas. the Macadamia and herb crusted Salmon And snapper with leek options are awesome also. Hidden private rooms upstairs are fantastic for wedding receptions, parties etc. Staff are wonderful and friendly. There is a 10% surcharge on sundays. See less

Pizza for me was excellent! Thin tasty crust, right amount of topping and served piping hot. Partner had burger with string fries. Burger good, but fries a little cool on delivery. Pity! See less

Beautiful waitress with dark hair. Food was OK and for me dessert overvrated choc caramel tart was too sweet and caramel overcooked so it was gritty. Expensive budgets but pizza good See less

Had a really good experience at the Duxton. Mostly because of our server, Aisha. I'm celiac and she made it her mission to ensure that I got a celiac friendly meal and she followed it through until it got to my table to make sure I felt confident in what I was eating. Really refreshing experience compared to usually feeling like a burden for my illness. Thanks Aisha. You're fab!!! See less

I have been to The Duxton on several occasions. They are able to cater for large groups quite easily and their split check system makes paying a lot easier. Slightly higher pricing of food and drinks compared to typical pubs, but the quality of the food is reflected by this. Staff are generally quite friendly, but can be hard to get a hold of during rushes. The only issue I have found with this place is the sticky tables which I have managed to get every time. See less

Came in because Edgars was full and we didnt have a booking. Typical pub food. Music is a bit loud. Each ordered a main with a beverage on a quiet Sunday. The fact that menu clearly advertised fish&chips is $24. Funny thing I realised looking at the recipt after that I was charged for $26.4 for the fish and chips. Not sure why the costs charged doesn't reflect what's on their menu, could be service charges on Sunday? But the invoice doesn't quite have a breakdown so it's very hard to tell. Also there's card surcharge applies unless paying by cash. See less

Upscale pub. Good beer, good food, prices follow but nothing that would push you away. The char grilled rib eye, medium rare, was the star of the night. The other dishes were all good. The bbq ribs, not so much (it wasn't bad, just not up to the other options) In these cold covid days you gotta book or bring a heavy jacket to sit outside, heaters were of little help. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful, even though we couldn't get all we wanted (understandably), like move from the restaurant area to the bar area, but handled the situation very well.
