Worst Fish n Chips in Warragul. Grilled flake cooked in frying pan on stove out the back. Soggy big pile of oil soaked mush. Cheese Burger cooked out the back in frying pan. Gristle sausage meat Pattie smothered in salt while cooked. All cooked while she was on the mobile phone. Ended up eating a handful of oil filled chips and the top part of bun with the Cheese. The rest straight in the bin. See less

Golden fish used to be the best fish and chips in town! No longer is this the case! Ordered two battered scallops and two fried dim sims! When we got home with our order, the scallops where frozen and crumbed. I called Golden Fish back to let them rectify the problem where I was told that they told my “girlfriend” that they only had crumbed scallops! For starters, she is my friend, not my girlfriend and she would have told me had they been crumbed because she knows how much I love battered scallops! So much so, I have ordered else where and will never ever come back to Golden Fish, nor will I ever, ever recommend Golden Fish to anyone as I would have In the past! Find a better local fish and chips because Golden Fish is no longer any good and the staff are liars! See less

Do not order online. It attracts extra fees that no one mentioned. I got into the shop and they didn't even know I had ordered online. Had to wait another 20mins. While waiting I was looking at the price board and noticed that I had been charged about $15 more than I should have been. When I queried the extra money I was told "online prices have extra charges. Next time phone order through. It will be cheaper." I asked for a bit of a refund and was told to phone order through. I definitely will not be ordering here again. See less

Look have loved this place. But tonight the batter was way too heavy, lighten it up a bit "way too much and solid. Then who ever chicken salted it practically snowed it and i couldnt eat some of the food. Not joking that much i had to throw in the bin. Please lift your game. Apart from 7 Noodle Drouin and Warragul have the worst restaurants in the Southern hemisphere. See less
