Pleasantly surprised that this restaurant had a good tasting fare to offer. The reshmi kebabs, chicken lababdar and beef in the coriander base are worth a try. Their spinach dal is really delicious and has a beautiful garlic flavour. The onion kulcha is nice too See less

I've been told off that I'm not allowed to call Indian people Indian. This doesn't make sense to me when U are allowed to name a restaurant Indian. I lived with legal rights in Sweden & in England & was called an Australian. I didn't take offence to this. See less

I have frequented this place for quiet a while now, and the butter chicken is the best in all of townsville! Other restaurants have Butter Chicken which tastes like pumpkin soup, the butter chicken here is a tastebud explosion and the other meals are quiet good as well. I have dined in here and gotten takeaway a fair few times, never been disappointed. Thank you for the amazing food always! See less

We went there for lunch and only takeaway was available. We ordered a mix of few items and were happy with the choices for sure. The food was great and well made. The paneer tasted like fresh made at home. Good food and great service. Very much recommended for anyone looking for an Indian meal in Townsville city. See less

After craving a butter chicken for a long time we decided to get a takeaway curry from the Jewel of India. The medium takeaway curry was the perfect size and comes with rice and a naan bread. We all left feeling satisfied but not too full as you often can. We ordered 4 curries and all were incredibly tasty. Enjoyed our meal. The dishes were medium hot as requested and really well flavoured with good quality ingredients. Friendly professional staff. Would go back. See less

Good, fast and freshly served food with Good atmosphere. Nice personal Family sitting area. Good experience with Very welcoming and friendly staff. I came to this restaurant first time with my work colleague who is from England and fond of Asian Food. Food flavour was good, I ordered Samosa, Onion Bhaaji, Daal Tadka, Chicken Manchurian, Raita, Naan and Pistachio Kulfi. I will rate all products as below Samosa (4/5), Onion Bhaaji (4/5), Daal Fry (2/5), Chicken Manchorian (3/5) rated by my colleague as I didn’t try it, Raita (3/5), Roti (4/5) Kulfi (4/5), Prices (4/5), Customer Service (4/5), atmosphere (5/5), time taken to deliver food (5/5). I must appreciate that the management has done an excellent job for creating a welcoming atmosphere and has created good food flavour as well.
