This was my first time eating at Groove Train. It was a Wednesday night and only about half full so service was quick, friendly and very helpful. Drinks and cocktails all looked great. My friend felt her pizza could have been cooked a little more but I was very happy with my chicken. Meal are of a big size. See less

Great atmosphere, awesome food well portioned and friendly welcoming waitstaff. There was a little confusion over the booking arrangement but we were welcomed, seated and served a great meal. Will definitely dine there in the future. See less

I went there with my partner yesterday afternoon. It was our first time visit to The groove train. Food was amazing, it was a bit pricey than other normal cafe in Shepparton but it was worth it so "no complain", the lady staff who served us was so nice and friendly. We will definitely return to your restaurant. Thank you. See less

We had a family dinner tonight. The staffs are lovely and the environment is good but the food is the main problem. The food & price does not really match up. The mix gril and the mushroom sauce is lack of seasoning and is expensive. The risotto rice portion is too much but not the seafood portion. I have order two kids meals for my kids but one of the dish came out main when I went to pay the bill. The staff need to reconfirm the order list with the customer before send it to the kitchen in the near future. See less

The group of friends l went with all thought the meals were overpriced for what you got, l had the open steak sandwich which was $24.50, at that price l expect an egg and some bacon. I did enjoy my meal though. The staff are friendly and helpful, and a bonus is all our meals were bought out at the same time which is rare l find these days See less

Dear Readers, it's has been along time again since I posted on this wonderful forum I know. But here goes, Groove Train: As we enter Groove Train (GT) I am delighted by the wood decor, from the tables and chairs to the bar. All are wood, from deep stained to lighter softer stains for the tables and chairs. The GT however has small issues that prompted me to give the star rating I have. And this is quality of food, Vs Pricing. GT is very costly to the point of being cost prohibitive. But I will now speak of some more amazing points of GT, the customer service is absolutely superb, cannot be faulted in the wait staff. I cannot speak more highly of the wait staff. Lovely wait staff. Apparently time limit on table but wasn't told until asked to leave half way threw desert. Risotto gluggy and chicken dry, curry nice. Yes I told them this. Water glasses put on table but no water. Won't return. See less
