Absolutely wonderful, speaking to the lovely staff here! What a great place! And the doughnuts are to die for 😍😍 the flavour was phenomenal and as recommended, ate them hot 🤤🤤 Watched these guys make fresh doughnuts and serve them up! Wish these guys nothing but the best. 10/10 will be back (maybe tomorrow 🤣🤤)! See less

Blatantly untrained staff, and the worst customer service I’ve ever received. A very poorly run establishment. EDIT: This is a criticism of management, not the young staff members. The kids had clearly received poor training and the only rudeness I received was from the man in charge. Also, you’re clearly encouraging these kids to not wear masks, thus putting their health at risk and all of your customers. Do you really expect us to believe that all six of the people working all had medical mask exemptions? That would be nigh on statistically impossible. Pull your head in mate. See less

Not worth $40 and a 30min wait for 2 coffees and 2 servings of loukoumades. The attendant said there was a 10minute wait for donuts and the coffees would be quicker than that. This lead to us deciding to stay and drink our coffees while we waited for the donuts. While we waited, they played awful club music (on a Sunday morning) outside that was so loud we had to move around the corner, away from the speakers. The coffees took 20mins even though there were only 2-3 customers in the cafe. They didn’t taste very good (my flat white was 50% foam). When I collected the coffees the attendant told me the donuts were ready and would be 2 mins, they were just putting on the toppings. 10 mins later, the donuts were ready. There was no urgency, no apology, and no acknowledgement or “thank you for waiting”… Then, when we finally tasted them, the toppings were good but the dough was raw in the middle. Plus, there were no water bowls for dogs out the front. I would not recommend. See less

Quite disappointed by the poor service and lack of awareness displayed by the staff. Your review responses advise customers to come in and discuss issues, however when we raised attention to the absurdly lengthy wait-time for an ice cream, we were met with arrogance and sheer rudeness. Customers are incredibly patient, especially in the current climate. However they shouldn’t tolerate this level of rudeness, especially in a venue clearly not even following covid safety rules. We thoroughly enjoyed your honey dougnuts (Greek loukoumades)! They were fresh, tasty..and had us licking our lips!! We loved both the chocolate and pistchio covered and traditional ones with honey and walnuts. There is an apect of artistry to what you do and the difference is that your deserts leave one feeling light and wanting more!! The natural ingredients are refreshing. See less

The desserts here are amazing. The only downside is that since it's understaffed, the wait in line can last up to an hour on weekends. There's also a limited amount of seating, and especially when it's crowded, you could be table hunting for half an hour. Otherwise, friendly staff, delicious desserts, great for the night life! Was excited for this place to open and yep, they're nice. Was a busy day and after ordering I quickly asked the young girl if I could add a galaktoboureko to my order which I was told to get back in the line and order. No problems. After waiting in line for 5 minutes I go to order and she says sorry, we've run out.... You seriously couldn't have told me that?? I put it down to young staff... will be back though. See less

Very yumm and worth the wait, although I did have to wait about 20min and they weren't very busy!! I had the Mango drink, spanakopita was very average dry and stale give it a miss. Lukumathes where delicious and fresh, but where very small. I'm probably just used to the old fashioned style my grandma made. Great store with seating out side in the heart of Rye!! See less

First of all the owners are awesome people. They are friendly and always happy to chat with their customers. They even helped us get back in our car when we locked ourselves out. Secondly the food is the best Lokma i ate in my life. I m Turkish so i know a thing or two about loukoumades :) They also have home made jams which are great. All and all i ll keep coming back . Milan and Athene flavour donut were simply delightful. The donuts have a thin crispy layer with soft inner part, combining that with a good amount of topping made every bite a pleasure. The only small flaw was the latte, that tasted average. See less
