Very disappointed. Please be aware of confusion , you don't get anything as expected. I tried 3 types of dishes not even 1 was satisfactory. I don't recommend this place. See less

Just came from Sydney, thought I would relieve some Nepalese taste and came here. Only one boy serving, doesn't have proper dress. One lady in the counter doesn't know how to greet, she never attended, had to ask even for water, forget about the menu they had. The worst thing is, trying to show how busy they are and acting as couldn't even have time to serve. Although the food is fine, customer service is the worst. See less

Well this was a severe disappointment....My partner and I booked a table for dinner at this restaurant, we were not greeted upon arrival and they had 1 front of staff member working for the entire place - on Valentines Day. Once we were eventually seated we waited unattended at our table (without even getting a bottle of water or our drinks order taken) for 45 MINUTES before we even got our order taken. This was horrible - we were starving and the place wasn't even busy. They have very poor staff management and terrible customer service. I would NOT recommend going here unless you have a few hours to kill. I don't even know what the food is like because we walked out after AN ENTIRE HOUR OF WAITING, with still no drinks.....terrible. We had a chance to have dinner visit from melbourne. Interior design is really good. Entree was good. Not happy with the mains. We ordered dal bhat thali. Seasonal Curry we had in thali was out of taste. See less

I ordered tonights dinner for my family we had, lamb momo, JOGI tarkari, Khasi ko masu, butter Chicken and plain naan. Everything thing was lovely, the portion sizes were standard and the customer service was good. I had seen a few negative reviews of this restaurant before ordering, but luckily enough I wasn't fooled by other peoples bad additudes. See less

Worst experience ever, went there with friends to have a good time but the only thing i had was friends to talk with. Don't even wanna start with customer service, if it was possible to buy manners would have brought them one. Don't recommend anyone with typical taste because it's messed up. See less

A well earned 5 stars for this hidden gem of tantalising flavours and safety in the heart of an otherwise Gotham Cityesque belconnen. Overlooking the wierdly overrated chicken franchise, the Hungry Buddha delivers of quality service and awesome food (do yourself a favour and have a somosa delight). My dining companion noted that her diverticulitis was not bothered by the spices, which was a delightful change to the regular toilet dash post consumption of lesser quality spices. See less

A COVID discovery for me, and a welcome one! The food is plentiful, and delicious! The goat curry was exceptional. If you like a bit of heat say so - the default setting is quite mild. See less

Very detailed menu listing food intolerance items like Dairy Free. I had the vegan dinner set. It was all amazing, complex spice layers, fresh ingredients and not oily. Lovey people and a nice view from the upstairs location across the hills while we ate. See less

Hard to get anyone's attention and also because no one come's over after the food has been served. They're always in a rush to clear the table - waitress picked up our entrée before we'd finished, so we had to ask her to put it down. Then when they cleared mains, the other waiter dropped a food stained knife on my pants - maybe it was a genuine mistake, maybe just incompetent. Ordered a Nepali beer at a Nepali restaurant - out of stock. Only Nepali restaurant I've ever been to that doesn't serve proper dishes for momos - maybe it's a personal choice, but a poor one. Food was almost bland and the curries basically all tasted the same. Servings were tiny for the massive prices. Chilli chicken was probably the only good thing on the menu. Note: All emojis in the photos below were BEFORE tasting - do not be misled! See less

Enjoyable food good atmosphere the wait staff could've been a little more attentive. I feel the portions could be bigger but the food is great and they have Nepalese beers. See less

Had dinner here on a Sunday night. The restaurant itself is nicely themed with a relaxing vibe. We ordered a few curries with rice and cheese nan. The flavours and taste of the curries was nice and not too spicy. The rice was soft and fluffy, with the cheese nan being the highlight. There were quite a few bones in my fish curry so be warned for that. Otherwise the prices were not bad and I do recommend if you haven’t tried Nepalese type food. See less

Excellent food, large portions. Some of the best cheese and garlic naan I have had. Child friendly place and the staff are cheerful and helpful. Unfortunately, being on the first floor, you cannot take your stroller. Strongly recommend that you call and make a reservation before going there See less
