Seriously the best restaurant on the Peninsula. Pork belly was crisp and beautifully cooked and served with the perfect blend of flavours. My side of chips (yes I can’t resist) was perfection, very crispy on the outside and soft inside. Love this place 💕. See less

Staff is very friendly & welcoming + Coffee and Soy Chai were excellent. But food is average. Veg Cheeseburger left a dry taste cuz it's lacking any sauces. Bacon sandwich portion was small. Stayed in Tootgarook for a week and went to The Kitchen for coffee most mornings. Great coffee and fantastic staff - was treated like a regular from my second visit. Lovely courtyard out the back under a canopy of muscat grapevines to get your day started. See less

I bought a coffee to take away, they kept me waiting for 15 minutes, and they didn’t either let me know that I had to wait that long nor prioritized me. It’s very inconsiderate and annoying. The coffee tasted bad. I asked for lactose free milk, not sure what milk was in it. I ordered a large one, but it feels only a medium size. it cost me 5.80. See less

Friendly and helpful staff, great food my suggestion is the pancakes. If you want to feel like a kid again, eat them! Dog friendly and nice cosy area. Great vibe. All day breakfast is awesome. See less

THE BEST COFFEE in the area. During lockdown, we decided to give all cafes in the 5-10km radius a try. HANDS DOWN the Kitchen is the best. We drive about 5-7 mins each coffee run to get there - worth it! Their food, is also delicious - we generally get Takeaway Saturday nights and it's from the Kitchen. Team are friendly and fantastic - keep up the good work everyone! See less

We thought we would give this place a second chance after they lost our order the last time we visited. On this occasion after checking if our party of 3 could sit at a large table and were given the all clear they then proceeded to move us to a table in full sun, with no cover at all, which was unacceptable. And as we advised we would no longer require the table, the waiter replied with ‘too hard is it’. To which we thought, no need for a second chance. Very disappointing. See less

This is one of the peninsula's little gems. The head chef Andrew has just catered for our work Christmas party the food was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and every guest had a fantastic time. Tom was also fantastic making sure everyone had enough to eat and drink. This is also a favourite spot for Sunday lunch, no matter what they are cooking on the BBQ or spit, it's sure to be a winner. Get on it! See less

Fantastic little place. Despite the recent fire which closed down inside dining and the kitchen. They have come together and pulled everything outside and created a little hide away to stay open and serve a limited menu (which was tasty and well cooked). Live music was a bonus and the service was friendly. See less

The services is suck, when we try to order lunch menu, she told us we cant order till 12pm. Then when we ask, can you take our order 1st then only you put in our order at 12pm. She say cant, i need to order later again. Then another staff coming she say you can order 1st then she will put in our order later. (That is called service) . Another staff is friendly. Lets talk about the food. Crispy pork not crispy at all. Fresh juice is not fresh definitely is not fresh. So disappointed with their services and foods. See less

Great place to come for lunch! The cheese burger that I had was small but damn tasty. I recommend it for the kids, a small snack to shut them up XD. Staff were very friendly and nice. Have seen better, but still good. 5 stars! See less

Full lunch menu Wednesday thru Sunday has good gluten free options. Limited lunch menu Monday and Tuesday does not have gluten free option. I say this for the people needing gluten free food. Mum had gf mild curry with papadams and l had a prawn, corn. Mango salad on toast sprinkled with finely sliced chillies and corianda. Lovely staff. Recommend. Meals were bigger than they look in my photos. See less

Visited The Kitchen for the 2nd time!!! It was raining heavily and we couldn't get a table but we were happy to order take away food and eat at our service apartment. We are very happy with the food this time. The Sirloin steak was cooked well and the Fettucini was still as delicious!!! Thanks to Bob the owner for offering us a voucher and the team who served us, all very friendly and helpful people!!! Thank you! See less
