We booked a table for 6 and even received a text to confirm the exact date and time for this reservation. Turned up and let them know our name just for them to say we never booked a table.. We showed the manager the text and she mentioned we have to wait for another confirmation? pretty sure if you send a text confirming the time and date - that's a confirmation... lol went somewhere else and spent a lot of money there instead. Fabulous seafood! The Lazy lobster was the only place that would take us on a Sunday night at 7:30pm which I thought was funny coming from Sydney, but glad it ended up this way. Husband had the salt and pepper calamari and I had the scallops for entree, while they were great the salad the scallops were served on was actually surprisingly flavourful and maybe even the star of the dish! Husband had steak with mushroom sauce for main which was lovely and I had the pasta Bennetto. I thought the avocado on top was strange but it worked. I loved it so much I couldn’t leave any behind and took my leftovers back to our hotel! I got so full from the generous serving that I left almost a whole cider (sorry) but it was very nice too. The waitresses were extremely attentive and even though we were the second last table there at closing time they still offered us a dessert menu and didn’t rush us to pay. I would recommend this restaurant even to people staying in Broadbeach, where we were. We came for dinner but with the location it would be great at lunch time. See less

We were staying down the road and walked to here because they were a local restaurant. When we arrived I think they were surprised we walked in without a booking. Even though they were booked out, they fitted us in with a table with a view. The service was beyond what I expected and the food even better. I could not believe how good the special Baby Barramundi was. Thank you for a special dinner for us. See less

Took my father there for lunch on Wednesday. We drove from Brisbane. Staff very friendly and attentive. Ice cold water given to us without asking. My husband and I ordered the seafood chowder and my father the chill Prawn and avocado spaghetti. All meals where delightful. My father said it was the best spaghetti meal he has ever eaten. Been here many times over the years and always recommended to friends. See less

Most amazing seafood and food on the Gold Coast. Have been here many times and it’s our absolute favourite place. The food, service and views are second to none! Do yourself a favour and book a table otherwise you may miss out if you walk in because it’s so busy, even on a week night !! We had the Morton Bay Bugs and oysters for entree, the prawns and salmon for Mains and a delicious sticky date for desert. Extensive wine / drink list, we are never disappointed. 10/10 ! Delightful food and relaxing setting. Seafood is fresh and cooked to perfection. Cocktails are delicious. Deserts are scrumptious but not too heavy. Definitely recommend the Creme Brule and the Garlic Prawns! Always has been a favourite and continues to be even after all these years :) See less

Great customer service. Food was perfect. 7 of us had beautiful meals. Lovely water views. We had our staff Christmas party and we’re very well taken care of. During such a busy day. I had seafood basket. It was hot and delicious. You must try dessert. My brandy snap was huge. Plenty for 2. Steak was perfect. Seafood platter for 2 was so much, we had to get a doggy bag. See less

Fantastic food with a view. The Lazy Lobster is fully licensed restaurant with great seafood choices. We went along to celebrate a birthday - table of 4 right by the window. If you want to ensure a window view suggest making a booking as they are in demand . Started with a mixed half dozen oyster . Very tasty. You get to choose the mix. Then we had seafood chowder in cob loaf , seafood basket and the Whiting . Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals . I’d give top marks to the seafood chowder . Superb! You can check out the menu online to get an idea of what’s available . Was reasonably busy there but staff were still very attentive , service was quick , atmosphere was pleasant . We enjoyed bottle of wine , a spirit , a few bottles of beer. Total cost of meal and drinks for the 4 was $192. Good value for a special occasion . Recommend going See less
