This was hands down the worst dining experience I have ever had.
I had provided my dietary requirements in advance. The restaurant insisted all the people with dietary requirements sit at a separate table from the rest of the group.
So myself and a couple of vegetarians were sitting by ourselves at a large table.
Despite the organizer and I repeatedly reiterating that I could not eat gluten as I am coeliac I was served cross contaminated food. The vegetarians were served meat. I was served red meat (I had specifically requested no red meat!) and some unpalatable dry bread/cracker thing. Despite paying substantially for a nice dinner myself and the vegetarians were not able to eat almost any of it and were ravenous by the time mains was served - 9pm, as we had not been able to eat almost any of the entreè and there is only so much cooked cauliflower you can eat.
I ended up getting bullied into eat red meat because they did not make my gluten free plate with anything other than red meat. After the previous treatment I was sure I would simply not get a meal if I told her to take it back to the kitchen. And as mentioned above the entreé was mostly unsuitable or just disgusting.
The vegetarians were eventually given some fried cheese for mains around 9:15pm.
The chef didn't serve food appropriate for our dietary requirements.
The food was disgusting to meh.
The staff weren't even keeping up with the water.
We had to wait a very long time for mains.
It was expensive and miserly.
There were no extra serviettes.
The poor waitress looked extremely harried and didn't know what to do with the inappropriate food she was told to give us and then told by us we couldn't eat.
I will never go back there. I strongly recommend against the platters menu. It is completely unsuitable for people with any dietary requirements no matter how mainstream.
I regret not asking for my money back and just leaving. See less
