This,restaurant is well known for seafood but we only ordered congee and fried noodle for lunch which were very ordinary. Definitely we have to come back for the lobster next time. See less

Believe this restaurant has recently changed ownership, and heard about it has live lobster on special so decided to give it a try. Yes, lobster is good value in many restaurants, probably affected by trade issue with China, making the supply plentiful and price lowered. Prices are in 2 tier, the bigger ones dearer and smaller one cheaper and both are much better value comparing with the past. For two people, we ordered a small lobster cooked with ginger and shallot, added noodle to it, plus another dish, and ended up more than one-third left to takeaway. Taste overall was good, but the noodle was a bit too soft, perhaps over boiled a bit. Value of our lobster dinner was very good, eighty odd $ for two. While food was quite good and definitely can't complain value, the service was not as good, it's rather crude, not really that friendly. Noise level towards the end of our meal increased a lot as more customers arrived, and as the tables were set quite close together. See less

The food came in large portions and was very tasty. The staff were very nice and friendly but I do suggest booking in second floor. They have small rooms with more privacy when eating with family and friends.Anyways, nice restaurant and an amazing experience. Will come back soon. See less

The restaurant was a little too crowded but the service and food was great. We had a huge mixed pot of combination dishes including scallops, prawns, crab and oysters plus yam, squid and many other items. This delight has no name. The waiter simply calls it a 'Combination of Food'. See less

HORRIBLE SERVICE. HORRIBLE STAFF. HORRIBLE DISHES. Came early evening and was served by a lady KiKi (琪琪). She not only did not place the wrong order (missed out on a dish), she opted out of showing the lobster to be served on the table (said it needed to be requested by patrons, never in my close to 30 years of being brought up in a Cantonese family having dinner out has this been an issue). Lobster comes out 5 minutes in the meal and is questionably small. Now if they had brought it out before being cooked, we could have decided not to go for the dish or gone ahead with the order and been prepared for the actual dish. No. No confirmation of the lobster nor of the menu for the night. When questioned about this, they went on the defensive, giving no thoughts about their patrons. Came around the table arguing all other similar dishes were the same and we were not discriminated against. Showed another table’s dish to us arguing once again that everyone had the same dish. It just felt like they were in a rush to sell of the smaller lobsters while making it sound like we were going to be served the ones live in the tanks behind us. Would not come again. Does not even deserve a star. See less

Yummy Cantonese dishes, nice and helpful staff who helped me getting a table when we walked in on Sunday night, forgot to reserve a table! Definitely a local gem with good food. Just remember they have basic drinks option so there is no alcohol nor fancy drinks, only soft drinks / tea/ water available. See less

The carpeted floor is black, but you can see the original colour under their counter which is most definitely not black. The floor was disgustingly sticky I don't know why I continued to sit down and order. Mistakes were made, and I admit getting scammed here was completely my fault as I ignored the warning signs. The meals were overpriced. We paid over $50 for two dishes that a takeaway joint can do for half the price and 100x the quality. Heck, even the boxed clearance meals are better. I expected something great for this price point, but was left very disappointed in the quality. The pork was rubbery and drowning in oil, the fried food was stale like it was cooked earlier and microwaved later. The "live seafood" tanks look filthy, and it's hard to tell if the lobsters are still alive. Would give a 0 star rating if I could. See less
