I was responsible driver tonight, venue is really nice. Toilets could be checked and cleaned more often and bar service was really bad, girls behind bar were drinking while working and clearly ignored me when I was the only person at the bar. Not nice or friendly at any interaction I had with them. See less

I attended the Osborne with two friends, excited to try this venue out on a Saturday night. We waited for a while in the queue and had our IDs ready to present to the bouncers. However, to our disappointment the bouncers turned us away for absolutely no reason. This was not a matter of the venue being at capacity, we would have gladly waited a little longer for our turn if this was the case. People in the line after us were let straight in with no issue. I have never experienced such rude bouncers, and will most definitely not be returning again, nor will my friends. We were gladly accepted by the next venue we attended. With plenty of other venues nearby I'll be sure to try them next time instead of wasting my time queuing at the Osborne. See less

Had a night in Melbourne and this place was suggested by the hotel. Was met by four bouncers on the door (for a restaurant) and was told I'd be better suited for a pub. (no idea how to take that). The comment from the door staff was beyond hilarious. Emailed the venue to advise I was refused entry for dinner. No reply. On a positive note, the next venue was welcoming and provided great service. I'd avoid this place. See less

A few of my friends (dark skin males) tried to go for a few drinks and then were told not wearing proper shoes. We questioned that the rules weren’t mentioned on the website or anything. The bouncer couldn’t give appropriate responses. Tried again weeks later, same group of friends, dress shirt and nice shoes and still got told no and reservations only. The bar was quite empty inside. We can’t help but could only assume it’s a racial issue not just rules made up. **** The venue's response does no address any of my concerns mentioned. Also found many other 1 star review addressing potential racial discriminations. See less

Beware! I was not directly involved in this incident, however my partner and I were eye witnesses to what we describe as a brutal beating of a innocent people. I witnessed a group getting escorted out of the premises by thug security guards, which escalated to the point where innocent men and WOMEN were being hit repeatedly for no good reason. The group were apologizing and trying to leave but the security kept BEATING them. The security mocked and laughed at the women who they assaulted. This is not a lie, joke or exaggeration. My partner and I felt sick watching this. We called the police but they did nothing to help the situation. I hope appropriate action is taken upon those horrible security. Absolutely disgusting! AVOID AVOID AVOID!! See less

Really pleasant rooftop bar and restaurant with surprisingly good food, that is to say I wasn't expecting it be that good and was pleasantly surprised. I don't really like seafood at all usually but the calamari in particular was excellent. The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. Would happily visit here again See less

Great venue in an open space rooftop bar! I really like that it is not too packed and you can still move around to the music. The live music was wonderful! The location is really close to the train station as well. The service was nice and I had a wonderful time there! See less

This is a great bar to chance by for after-work drinks or predrinks for a date/night out. The interior is quite sleekly decorated and inviting. Though I myself found it a tad too loud so the lovely girl that served us ciders recommended the rooftop seating. I really liked the seating up here! Yes half of the great table options were reserved for an events and the crowd that were there at the time were some of the most pretentious I have ever seen. I almost thought I fell through a dimensional rift, experiencing a parallel world where this crowd was living a life of showbiz. Seriously the attitudes and girls who moved away when me and my lovely partner sat down on a nearby couch. The views are nice from above and it is a really nice spot to enjoy a drink. Give this place a shot, we probably went on an odd day. See less

This venue itself is impressive upon coming in but in terms of service nothing special. I didn’t mind that everything is self service, from having table water, getting your own cutlery to sitting at a table. The one only interaction you’d have from staff would be at the bar and you might as well self serve there too!? We were at the bar, ready to order and with 3 staff on our end, you’d think someone would catch on or be attentive. A younger male took our order after being prompted to do so and it wouldn’t hurt to smile or chat. The food came out in decent time and the calamari had good flavour to it but insanely salty - my friend turned into a raisin 😜😂 Pizza wasn’t too bad. Venue is easy to get to with street and off street parking. Cute courtyard. Not in a hurry to be back here. See less

Wow, what a great addition to commercial Rd. It was only their second day open and the place already had a great turnout. The food tastes great but needs a little more on the plate to give better value for money. The rooftop looks absolutely awesome, the venue looks fantastic. Drinks were a reasonable price. 3 large TV screens showing Sports, a little something for everyone. Went back recently here and got the pasta, it was really nice fresh pasta but quite small, was still hungry after. See less
