WOW !!! This place is amazing ! Was here today for my birthday celebration and can’t rave about Ripe enough. From the initial call to make a booking they went out of the way to meet our complex dietary requirements. The chef was so accommodating and even did some research on FodMap foods and made an exquisite three course meal for one of our guests. We seriously could not fault a thing. Lots of highlights but my shining light was the pork belly, the best I’ve ever had and the calamari, sublime ! All this with the most helpful, cheery and professional staff. Catch up with friends. Pre meal lovely wine tasting for the ladies while the guys chatted in seating area outside the wine tasting area. Beautiful wines, servers were great & very knowledgeable. Everyone had wonderful meals, fantastic location, outlook & surroundings. Just the perfect place for 2 or 10 (we were the 10- well the 9 really). The staff were great, Janine, in particular, was stupendous, handled our one difficult friend to perfection, had so much fun with her interaction, a joy to be part of our catchup since before march. Very nice meal and very friendly service. Covid restricted menu but that is to be expected I guess. Very nice surrounds and well kept facilities complement the smallish but flavourful meals. I would definitely return. See less

What a hidden gem. I wanted to take my partner to somewhere he hadn't been and I had heard great things about Ripe. From the moment we were greeted at the door by Janene we knew it was going to be a fun day. The menu was not overwhelming and had something for us all. Serves were not huge. Just enough to leave you satisfied. My steak was cooked perfectly and was superbly tender. A lovely relaxed place with amazing views out to the vines. Thank you Ripe. We will be back. See less

Lunch is one of those meals that is very hard for a chef to plan well. Too much and the guest is uncomfortable, too little and the guest wonders why they have spent the money. The Chef/Owner at Ripe has got it right. We had the 3 course degustation for lunch and it was perfect, just the right amount of food to leave you feeling refreshed, your taste buds tittlated and even having learned a little along the way. The entree was tasty yet just enough to remind you that you were hungry, the wagyu wasn't overwhelming and heavy, which it could have been as the centrepoint of the meal and the desert was light, sweet yet tart and reminded you that the whole thing was worth the trip. Next time I think I will try and give it a go for dinner. See less
