Want to spend 16 bucks for fruit toast? Most expensive toast I’ve ever seen in my life. Yeah they add ricotta cheese but is that worth 10 dollars more than every other cafe? They also refuse to remove any ingredients once we requested if we can just have the toast butter. Crazy prices and horrible customer service. Do not recommend! See less

A local staple. Consistency is exceptional. Pies are great. Coffee thickshake is to die for. Menu items are great. All round a good place with the only gripe being the area around the back door - looks a little unfinished but perhaps that's the point and I'm being too critical 🤣 See less

Awful coffee made by inexperienced staff, rude staff, long waits for understaffed cafe, dirty tables and the food is highly questionable. Do not recommend and it's a hard pass for future visits. One of the worst cafes we've been to in Canberra. There is much much better around, try Gowrie just a hop, skip and a jump from this rubbish. We all checked in and they see us do so in clear view, then still ask to see phone to verify. No thanks, you do not need to see any personal details nor know my health status #ead. See less

Sorry, foods good and the coffee better, but there is too much Heydrich going on and not enough Hospitality. I was a regular customer. As a regular customer, someone who spent money in your premise quite a bit to support a local business, if you ask me whether I've checked in and I tell you I have....I bloody well have. It's fine to ask, If I've forgotten I'll go back and do it, not a problem. Ordering me to pull out my phone for you to see it while I'm juggling a baby, and I've already told you I checked in, I frequent joint most mornings....yeah not ok. One occurence from a zealous staff member I could have coped with , not every time. Pity, now the clown gets my money, but he's smart enough not to insult me at the drive through. See less

Very good selection of dishes here. Great range of fresh cakes, pastries, pies etc on display. Prices about average. Service good. But they kind of got our order wrong today (perhaps we weren't heard properly through the face mask). See less

Very poor experience. We are all used to signing in everywhere we go, but this place takes the dry cake. Rude #1 behind counter would not take my order without me first presenting my phone for sign in inspection. 100's of places been to and this is the first time I was going to be refused service without handing over phone, ridiculous. Rude #2 making coffee. I ordered skim milk. 'Barista' heats up milk for coffee ordered before mine, and I clearly saw full cream being prepared, he makes that coffee then uses same milk in mine, I ask if that's skim, knowing full well it's not, and he looks at me, says yes its skim, pushes coffee towards me n walks off. Hands down this cafe is amazing, has one of, if not the best scrambled eggs & toast in Canberra.. I mean the eggs are so light & fluffy, the toast is perfect and i mean PERFECT.. dont get me started on their coffee or the range of cold drinks.. shakes are sooo good for both milk or juice based.. can not recommend this place enough!!! if i could i would give it a billion stars ********* See less

Was absolutely delicious! Loved how many different flavours of hot chocolate there are. Ordered roasted marshmallow flavour and it tasted exactly like a nice hot marshmallow fresh off the fire. Would definitely be back! See less

I ordered an ice caramel latte on almond. I received a cup of warm almond with a hit of caramel and bitter coffee water. The barista was more interested in making themselves and coffee and going out the back for a smoke. Im not coming back See less

Constructive critique. Freshly squeezed juice was 70% foam, so mainly air. Cafe was practically empty and not a single minor reasonable alteration could be accommodated to one dish on the menu. I think the quality of fresh produce used is erring on the low/cheaper side. Meals could be lifted so much more with better quality ingredients and if staff could at least put on the facade that they want you to have a good dining experience. I don’t like giving average reviews but I hope to change it... let’s face it there ain’t much cafe choice in the immediate vicinity. See less

Need a quick pie to go? Or relax and have some food with a coffee? This place has a nice urban atmosphere, with decorative artistic designs placed all around, along with some warm ambient lighting. Plenty of staff for your food to arrive at your table in moments. Also some decent cakes/desserts for the sweet tooths. See less

We didn't order food, but the coffee was good. The chai was nice, sweet (maybe a little too sweet) and beautifully presented with a star anise on top. The style of the place is pretty awesome and there is a great selection of sweets. Although it is Sunday brunch time, there are still a couple of tables available outside.
