What is this disguisting concoction... Boiled half tomatoes in the rice which hasn't seen any seasoning 🤢 and to top it off the crispy pork belly was covered in some dodgy batter wth do you guys do there it is PORK BELLY it has a high enough fat content to fry it solo but Nooo you guys cover it in unseasoned filthy batter and dry out the Pork aswell what a Major waste of money 🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮 See less

The first time we tried The Rigg was through Uber Eats and the food was delicious. There were a few more hits as we continued to order from them during the pandemic but the last few times were a miss, the misses were quite disappointing in quality. We were shopping around the area yesterday so thought we'd give them another chance and ordered take away. Unfortunately it will be the last time we order our food from here as we found a little thorn branch in our Tom Yum Fried Rice. It was very lucky my partner found it before any of us bit into it. This place is amazing!!!!! The food was authentic, just the right amount of heat and spiciness and was delicious. They serve generous portion sizes at great affordable prices. The staff all welcomed us with big smiles and also came to check up on us to make sure we were happy with the meals. Great customer service! Will definitley make this my go to place for great Thai food. Their lunch specials are also fantastically priced and generous in size not like other places. See less

Great Thai restaurant near the Aldi and KFC in Bonnyrigg Plaza. Ordered the Tom Yum noodle soup which was tasty and a large portion. The service was friendly and quick. I will definitely be back again to try some other dishes! See less

My experience with The Rigg is almost exclusively through Doordash. Every order with them has been fantastic. The food is tasty, the coconut smoothie is incredible, and everything is packaged and presented thoroughly. Moreover, as I have ordered from The Rigg many times, I can attest to their level of consistency. They also have given me extra sauces etc on numerous occasions where I have requested it. Overall, while it isn't the cheapest place, you certainly do get what you pay for in terms of quality. The Rigg is an easy recommend. See less

I've ordered and delivered by ubereats. My fussy kid loves Pad See Ew very much, 1 box last him 3 meals. I was surprised after placed food into my large bolw, it's a lot actually. Happy with my ordered. Definitely order again. See less

This is our first time ordering from this restaurant due to being local to us , we usually travel a bit to go to our regular place but thought we try this place. We were very disappointed with the taste and the quality of the food , we ordered Beef Mossman and Tom Kha soup, both dishes tasted really weired and did not taste anything like it , the Mossman curry had 2 small potatoes and a fatty piece of beef and the soup had a small piece of tomato and some vegetables. We don't mind paying $45 dollars for food that worth it , but we won't be back to this place waste of our money. See less

Generously large portion sizes for the meals and drinks! Our milk tea was definitely over 600ml each, we were so full we couldn't finish, more for later! Location is tucked inside a carpark strip next to KFC and Aldi. See less

Peach Green Tea was delicious and staff were very kind and accommodating, we appreciated the suggestion to add rice with soup. We decided to eat in, the prices are very fair and portions are very generous, the tofu in soup was firm and flavoursome. The red Thai curry was delicious also! See less

I ordered off doordash and i’m impressed! Iv’e ordered from other thai restaurants around the area but always went past The Rigg because there wasn’t many reviews, so I wasn’t sure. After so many dissapoints from other places, I finally tried this place and 100% I won’t be ordering at another Thai restaurant. Even when I order pho from popular vietnamese restaurants, the flavour is dissapointing, it looks like it was prepared without care, and I end up having to microwave the soup. I ordered thai beef noodle soup today, not only was it still SUPER hot, the flavour was also so good! so much meat included aswell. It’s obvious they put care into delivery orders aswell. I also got the fried rice too which was really good! Keen to go eat-in one day, there menu is much more bigger than most restaurants, some things Iv’e never heard of before. Thankyou!
