Genuine old style pub meals at a decent price!! Especially if you go on their specials day, I mean, full snitty deal for $13.50 on a tuesday etc. and a decent salad bar to boot!!! Good value. See less

First time here and won't be back anytime soon the garlic bread was extremely solid and over cooked and the chicken schnitzel wasn't the best either I've had better for cheaper the food from the salad bar was far better than everything else. Food very average for its price I had a salt pepper squid I don’t recommend this at all My daughter had a medium rare rump not very nice at all more fat then meat My grand kids had a kids spag no sauce and under average My wife and mother Inlaw had the fish very nice I do recommend this and my daughter and her partner had the burger they liked this I won’t be coming back in a hurry Price wise not cheap See less

The food really wasn't great at all. Schnittys rated 4/10 & 3/10 by people I was with and I had garlic prawns that were cooked so thoroughly that if they were taken back in time and thrown in the ocean, they still wouldn't come back to life - they were that overcooked and of a rather leathery consistency and the shell remained on all of them till ½ way up on the prawns rather then just the tails. The rice was undercooked and dry also. 2/10 for the Windsor Hotel in terms of food overall. The salad bar was good and the staff were pleasant though you seemed extremely understaffed as a business on valentines day. See less

My husband, I and my mother in law wanted to go out for dinner and I thought we try somewhere we never been before. So we choice this place. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! They had a salad bar where you tell the staff what you want and they put it for you. I got pesto pasta. It was so dry and hard. We ordered a schnitzel, chicken Kiev and my husband had a rare rump steak. The schnitzel and chicken Kiev come out, it took 20mins for the steak to come. It was the worst steak my husband ever had. It was unevenly cooked. Most of it was over cooked and a bit of it was rare. It was tough and most of it was fat. It costed $42. Complained to the manager and said was it might be the quality of the steak and it took long to come because of size of the steak. My husband asked for his money back. Honestly it's a steak it shouldn't take that long and shouldn't they check the quality of their products before getting it??. So DO NOT recommend this place. See less

$13.90 schnitzel on Mondays and Tuesday including gravy and salad bar. Excellent value. The chicken Schnitzel is very juicy and moist. Gravy comes already on the schnitzel, so you'd have to ask if you wanted it separate. The salad bar has a hot and cold menu, unfortunately we were advised the cold section was not working 100% the day we went, but the staff had a technician coming and was probably just an unlucky once off occurrence. The salad bar isn't self serve due to covid, but the staff were quick each time we lined up and we never had to wait more than a few seconds to have someone give us more bread rolls. All the serving staff where friendly. I look forward to coming back. See less

Dined at hotel Saturday night . Ordered the roast Turkey, but I think it was left over from last Xmas as it was so dry and chewey . Very minimal vegetables served and half a teaspoon of cranberry. I gave 3 stars for te bar and waiting staff. They were all pleasant. The chef needs to go I I See less

I highly do NOT recommend this place especially if you plan on a group booking. A group of our clients along with staff had a lunch booking and the food took 1.5 hours to be served!!!!!! One client in particular found this extremely difficult which therefore made it very stressful on the workers and her meal happened to come out last out of the whole group. Multiple people came, ate and went whilst our group waited 1 and 1/2 hours for their food. We definitely won’t be going back and I will be passing on this info to anyone I know to prevent others from experiencing such a poor dining experience. See less

Plenty of space for social distancing, both indoor and outdoor. Staff very polite and attentive. I Always start reviews based on chicken schnitzel.this was a very good snitty with chips and gravy. Quality and price was very good. The availability of additional complimentary salad bar was a bonus. The variety of menu items was also quite varied. We enjoyed our meal and time at The Windsor.
