The service in this restaurant is one of the worst! Although our plate was empty, we were dipping a very bland dish into this sauce for some flavours. Without asking, the waitress just took our plate and walk away. It is just appalling service and I will not be back as they show no respects to their customers. One of the dish was very bland and I ask for chef to check and they just bluntly said this is how they do it. Amazing. See less

I loved the King prawns battered in duck yolk! For someone who is unfamiliar with Vietnamese culture and cuisine, I was excited to explore something new. The staff were welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and family friendly. The food was delicious thank you! I felt very welcome :) See less

Thuan Phat is my number 1 restaurant to dine-in, in St.Albans, regarding Vietnamese food. Their menu is massive, they have a bit of everything and everything is moderately priced. A family of 4 can dine and leave satisfied paying approximately $50 to $70, including drinks. They have the hands-down best roast duck and roast pork in St.Albans.!!! They have many, many more specialties that I've heard from family and friends but have yet to try. So, I recommend for anyone who's looking for somewhere to dine in St.Albans to give Thuan Phat a try. You won't be disappointed and all leave satisfied.! See less

Even though it is one of the best restaurant in St Albans, the waiting time and service is really lacking. Yes there is a lot of people dining in but the waiting time is really bad, they gave me a plate of roast duck first and then 25 minutes later, my noodles arrived which by then the duck was cold. They will always say the food is coming when I ask them but never came sooner. Overall, delicious food but bad wait time and service. See less

It is what it is. The food is fresh but nothing special. A huge section but the stir-fry beef and vegetables were bland and required chilly to get ride of the bitter taste of the greens. No alcohol to be bought and the staff were efficient but cold. Not one smile in the place. Maybe they should be paid more. The customer came and left quickly nothing much to do once you finished your meal. My friend tells me that this is one of the best restaurant in St.Albans and that the locals rave about it. I just can't see why. Maybe I am missing something in the translation but as far as I am concerned there are far better Asian restaurants within a 10 km radius were they know how to treat customers like they want them to come back. The restaurant was clean, food was really good although pipi in xo sauce was a bit hot for me but was good, char siew was really good as was the duck. Service was ok, bit of a language barrier but we understood each other in the end. There is a bit of a wait for food but its more due to how busy they are so understandable. Wonderful Vietnamese, Chinese dining with excellent range of dishes from reasonably priced to the extravagant expensive banquets. Good size restaurant with plenty of space and comfortable seating. Staff are friendly and attentive. This restaurant can be extremely busy and noisy at times but the atmosphere is always welcoming. Guest here really enjoy their visit. Recommended on your next visit to order the combination pho 🍲 and you will be full and satisfied on the one dish. Wheel chair accessible venue with very nicely presented rest rooms. See less

Food: Exceptional! From Vietnamese Sour Fish Soup to Chinese Roast Duck, everything is top notch. Very hard to match the quality. Service: Hit and miss due to the turnover of overseas students, but generally good management and friendly. Ambience: They got too busy they had to take over the shop next door! So book in advance and don’t come here for a quiet meeting. Value: Since its out further west, the prices reflect the location. Bang for buck. See less

It was a long day and after a drinking session with mates, we decided to head here for a nice feed to satisfy our tummies. Service was prompt and food was tasty. We absolutely gobbled through the food and enjoyed all dishes we ordered. Was a big fan of the duck tongue and roast pork dish. See less
