Been coming here for coffee for about 2 years now. Still the best on the entire strand! Never had a bad cup. Food is fantastic as well, and the service is always great, especially considering the employees early hours. :) See less

I cannot say enough good things about Tide Cafe. The staff are friendly, the coffee is amazing and the food delicious. I’ve been coming here for years and always walk away having had the best experience. The owner Chris is so lovely, he makes everyone feel welcome and nothing is too hard. Visited here two days in a row for breakfast and we enjoyed it each time. The lovely waiter always gave us the same great table each time. Try the waffles with banana and bacon... I loved them so much that I had them two days in a row, haha! The staff were friendly, the waiter particularly hospitable and charming, and the food delicious! 10/10 See less

My family visited this cafe for breakfast because of the good reviews however, we were extremely disappointed with the service and food. The woman at the front of house and making coffees was rude and unfriendly to my elderly father when he was ordering and when she brought out the wrong coffee for him, was rude to him again and blamed him for ordering wrong (when in fact he hadn’t). I’ve never experienced such rude staff. Then when the potato rosti came out, it was soggy and burnt - see photos. It was oily and unpleasant. We will definitely not be returning due to the horrible service we received. There is no excuse for staff to treat customers so unprofessionally. See less

Amazing food, quick service, friendly and helpful staff. Had lunch during school holidays at midday. We had a regular eggs benedict with bacon; a gluten free eggs benedict with bacon; tidal wave; croissant; and a ham, cheese & tomato sandwich. For drinks we had three appropriate sized kids milkshakes and complimentary water (self serve). Venue has alfresco and indoor (airconditioning) available. Amenities also available at the rear of the Cafe. Would recommend for all family sizes. Thanks for the great service. See less
