Ordered via Uber eats . Won’t bother again. Had hot rock salted chicken: dry tasteless and presentation looked like the delivery guy has been in a collision with a cyclone!!! Also the beef rendang - which was quite nice - that’s what the ⭐️⭐️ are for. Very disappointed See less

nice little spot for some classic chinese and malaysian dishes they have a good amount of seating indoors as well as a few options outdoors at the front definitely check out the specials board because there are some winners there! some of our favs was the shan tun chicken and the mongolian beef. everything was definitely enjoyable and would be happy to come back again theres plenty of street parking around as well as a small carpark complex too See less

On a family visit to Canberra in 1995 (as a kid) I always remembered the fantastic fried rice that they served when we dropped by at TK. ~25 years later I moved to Canberra and was pleasantly surprised to see that TK is still around. The fried rice is still great, but the other dishes we ordered had bold and authentic flavours, generous portions and no skimping of key ingredients. I will gladly keep coming here. See less

We ordered take away tonight and ordered: Duck pancakes Honey pepper prawns Honey chicken Mongolian fillet steak Braised chicken Fried rice Boiled rice The duck pancakes meat came in a pre-mixed container with duck, carrots and other ingredients. The meat contained lots of sinew, and myself, my wife and 3 kids didn't like them. We ended up putting it in the bin. The braised chicken did not have much flavour and was also not a hit. The prawns and Mongolian fillet steak were good. The honey sauce wasn't in our order and then had to drive back and get it. Honey chicken was then cold and wasn't great either. For $120, a pretty dissapointing experience. See less

We have ordered from timmy's for years and always thought it was fantastic. But the last 3 orders, it has been terrible. We just picked up our food and 2 of the dished aren't even edible. Rice was not fresh. Prawn crackers were stale. Ordered king prawns with plum sauce and it's a clear sauce with pineapple in it. Maybe sweet and sour? Zero flavour so not sure. $95 worth of food and I'm so disappointed. Last and final time. See less

Disappointed from expectations. Have frequent restaurant in the past, but after a lapse of some years, the Laksa we used to have is nothing to shout about. Ordered prawn laksa but the dish is far from it, it's actually curried prawns. Those from Malaysia or Singapore will know what I mean. There was hardly any taste or smell of the rich coconut or the lemon grass or the typical aromatic smell. Even if its "curry prawan" the absence of curry flavour was a weak thin soup base of "diluted" curry looking soup base. Price is on the high side, but serve was generous. Service was prompt but some dishes came a bit late as there were a few of us. Sammy kitchen. same family restaurant, have better spicy dishes. I think there isn't the Zing or the spices there to "lift" the good old Malaysian flavour. Maybe time to scout around See less

OMG ! impeccable and delicious food! We got chicken and corn soup as a entry and the main course lamb with curry sauce. no complaint can be given when a person is satisfied after having such delicious food in their mouth. excellent customer service! Highly recommended place! See less

Simply amazing, not covered in oil or deep fried. Authentic flavours, beautifully balanced. The vegetables are fresh and crispy. Love all the sauces. We got takeaway and we're very impressed. Staff were polite and friendly. Was a pleasure thank you. See less

Not as cheap as most Asian food places but that's fair for the quality of food. The staff is very friendly and gave us great recommendations of best sellers. The food is really good but I wasn't blown out of my mind, hence the 4 stars. Manuka is a really nice area too, so you can have a nice walk around after eating here. See less
