I had a Ruben that was quite nice and a Tumerick carrot juice drink from the fridge. The staff are very pleasant and the service was quick. the cafe is very nice and tidy, all round a good experience. See less

Best sandwiches ever!!!!! We got a few take aways and even at the end of the day the sandwiches were fresh and not soggy as one would expect. I would def give them business next time am in PD. See less

The staff are always friendly and helpful. Coffee is insanely good - and their bagels are to die for. I wish I could take their NY Bagel home with me! You can also tell that the environment is really important to them - they partnered with an initiative called Green Caffeen which is an incredibly clever way to have a keep cup without having to bring your own. I'll be coming back to Toast Sandwich Bar every time I'm in Port Douglas. See less

This is a great little cafe. Food was fresh, and the service was incredibly friendly. Highly rated. Food: Although a bacon and egg roll was not on the menu, upon asking if I could get one it was not a problem. Also had a bagel with cream-cheese which had chives in it. We enjoyed this breakfast. Staff: Very friendly, accommodating and professional. Location: Away from some of the larger, more popular cafes - this sits somewhat hidden making it a bit of a gem. Prices: We found the prices to be market value and fair. I’m sure many tourists would find them expensive, but we thought the prices were on-point with similar Australian cafes. Atmosphere: Good vibes. Cleanliness: Tables were clean. Service area was also clean. Void-19 compliant: Yes. Would we go again3 Yes. Would we recommend: Yes. Excellent quality food, beautifully presented. Coffee on point. Friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere. Returned for a second breakfast visit. Had to try the Reuben and it didn't disappoint. Recommend this to anyone visiting Port Douglas. Cheers. See less

Husband and I had the rhuben the other day and it was insanely good. Perfectly filling without the need of any sides. Great quality roll and beef, so delicious! Plenty of staff on who were all friendly. See less

The BEST cafe for brekky in Port! Staff here are all so friendly and they make the best coffee (better than Melbourne). Bacon and eggs are always cooked to perfection and they even butter your toast for you, which I love with my vegemite toast. Special mention to the fella that was making coffee yesterday as he noticed another customer who tried to push in front of me to order. He made sure that my order was next and I want him to know that it didn’t go unnoticed. It’s the small things that can make a big difference to the overall experience and I appreciate it. Food was delicious, service quite poor. At the counter no smile, and we feel they want us to leave. We had to drink directly from the can, no cutlery offered or even ask if the food was good or anything. Could be too much better! See less

Great sandwich Bar with lots of options. They do fresh juices, coffee and takeaway options as well. Parking under the centre makes for an easy visit. I highly recommend. See less

I got tired of seeing the same bar meals advertised on the main street and found Toast. What a find. Exactly what I wanted, nice quiet, quaint atmosphere, super friendly staff, but main thing, outstanding food full of flavour that truely suits the tropics. We ordered the Pulled Pork and the Caribbean Chicken, everything incuding the charcoal brioche bun was amazing. $$$ value; very reasonable. This will be my go to eating place in Port Douglas from now on. See less
