Burgers = delicious. Service = a bit odd
The burgers here are un-fault-able. The waygu beef burger was juicy, it held together nicely and has a bit of a gourmet McDonalds burger feel to it with the shredded lettuce.
The fish burger (which you can get crumbed or grilled) was fresh, the fish tasted great and I enjoyed the addition of the pickled onions.
Nice to be able to choose which sauces you want and given a refreshing towel at the end of your meal.
I would love to give 5 stars, however the service was odd and inconsistent. We were attended to by many different staff members and the experience felt slightly more as though we were being pushed to be upsold on, rather than accommodated for.
Towards the end, after having a very large burger we sat for a while to drink the water that was provided, however we felt a bit rushed out by a particular staff member who brought the eftpos machine to us to pay when it was meant to be our choice to when we wanted it brought to us. The restaurant at that point was not overly busy, there were free tables (it was a Sunday night 14/3) and not close to closing hour either so we were a bit confused why we were being hurried out. The approach to this was rather tactless and rude.
I was hoping to return to try the other seafood dishes sometime however I don’t think I will for a while, See less
