I was on the fence about giving this review, but as I was about to change my mind, I was rushed out the door prematurely despite having dining time of less than 40mins.
It used to be really good, very accommodating, staff well trained, they had their game on and knew what they were doing.
Since post covid though, the staff lacks attention to detail (one instance where they didnt even bother asking me if I wanted hot or cold latte and just served whatever they wanted), the system has cracks (so does everyone else, but it's been 18 months on the booking system and the kinks still hasnt been ironed out) with bookings up to 2:45pm for a 3pm finish on weekdays, and lately there's been small shifts into non covidsafe practices, like randomly making up a table in the middle of the dining floor for a prebooked table, people taking their masks off etc.
The worst of it is that, all this comes with a newly festered dont-care attitude. I say new, because I literally come here every week (see photos) and the scoffing and snark with the service lately is becoming very real.
For a weekly patron of 3+ yrs, you'd think the staff would remember you. 🤷🏻♀️
Sure, everyone has lost motivation in the hospitality industry these few years, but as the saying goes, everyone has bad days in the kitchen, but no one goes to work to make a bad day for a patron.
And if it's every week, maybe it's time. See less
