The food was excellent while the service was sub-par. Regardless though we'd definitely be back as they were friendly, just forgetful! The pizza dough was airy and light. As a side, the potatoes exceeded the expectations of our table's seasoned potato expert! See less

After having read a number of reviews claiming “best pizza in town”, we had to check it out. We haven’t yet tried all the pizza in town, but it is definitely very tasty! Our waiter seemed inexperienced but was very nice. We are definitely coming back for the pizza! See less

We had a wonderful dinner tonight! We ordered salt and pepper squid to start with and it was tasty then followed with the lamb pasta dish and a pizza. Both dishes were perfect, the pasta was incredibly flavourful and the pizza - that pizza base was to die for! We ate everything even though we were full to bursting. We had a glass of Shiraz each - their wine menu was extensive and had some great local wines as well as some from further afield. We'll be back, so much more we want to try on the menu. See less

The hand cut gnocchi is amazing. The pistachio and Italian sausage pizza is a real stand out - something I'd had in Italy and hadn't seen on a menu back here in Australia other than at Trecento. The service is also welcoming and attentive. See less

Amazing lunch specials - do not miss the panouzzo sandwiches at lunch on Thur/Fri. Reasonably priced for the huge portion and quality. Bread (wood-fired pizza dough) is made in-house and the fillings are super fresh and high quality - My faves are the Fresca and Caprese, but they're all great. Strong, strong recommend. See less

Food is good but the service was terrible. We were the only table and there were two waitresses working. The table was set up for too few people, we had to ask for table water several times, we were offered starter drinks but then had to go and ask them to come over to take more orders (only then did they clear empty glasses) they missed taking an order from one person. If you want the food but MUCH better service - go to their restaurant Pronto in Queanbeyan. See less

I have only been here once, but it was definitely a memorable experience. I can't remember how many times I have recommended this restaurant to my friends. Me and my partner went with the Cheif's $65PP menu and I was so glad we did! My partner isn't a big seafood eater, but even she was happy with the woodfire king prawns. My favourite was probably the carbonara, but the margherita pizza was just as good! The most memorable part was how friendly the staff was. We were greeted by the manager and he had us laughing and feeling at home before he even got us to our seats. Highly recommended! See less

With most every other place closed or closing at 8:30-9pm, Trecento thankfully was will serving. Greeted by a lovely lady and given a table. The menu is focused and offers variety as well as quality. Food turnaround was quite quick for fresh dishes. Great staff and atmosphere. Will definitely visit again. See less

Without a doubt, I can say Trecento is the BEST Italian restaurant in Canberra. The food was absolutely delicious. It was very kind of the staff to serve the dessert in such a beautiful way as it was my Husband's Birthday. The staff went over and beyond to make our Birthday dinner special.
