Trev’s is wonderfully understated on the surface & contains a delightful core that radiates through all aspects of this cafe. The breakfast platter is both novel & high quality—a superb Canberra experience. It’s lungfuls of crisp, fresh air with a view over the surrounding snow-capped landscape! The coffee is amongst the best & always so. The person driving it all is consistently happy to chat & inquire about your experience, even when the place is hopping with patrons. It’s a rare find. You won’t find reluctant wait staff or lazy baristas at Trev’s. See less

Make sure you make a booking cause this place gets busy, but it's worth it because, FINALLY some choices on a breakfast menu! Took a friend to dine at Trevs. Always an experience. Trev is often behind the scenes but he puts together the most amazing combinations of flavours. Tonight I had the Seasonal King Prawns. An absolute delight and gluten free to boot! My friend was equally impressed with the Chicken Scallapini. Honestly it’s always hard to know what to order. The lamb, beef and pork are equally divine. Our table enjoyed dinner with every entree and mains on the menu and we were all Overcome with authentic freshness and terrific tastes on offer. The following day I had no nasal congestion or bloating (I suffer intolerance easily) and felt that this could only be due to the healthy ingredients and quality of the meals. I went for brunch. Plenty of choices (not just eggs, eggs and more eggs...) delicious morsels in the "pick 3" options, and good coffee and juice. Nice, attentive, friendly and efficient wait staff. Good value! See less

Discovered Trevs through a quick Google search and upon arrival found a simple but welcoming vibe. Staff are wonderful at explaining the food and meeting the needs of a family. Of course that's reasonably easy to do. What's not easy is producing food of this quality. Trev clearly has chops as a chef and it shows. The Cigar special was excellent, only enhanced by the red wine reduction and the pizza was flawless. Not a single piece that wasn't devoured. Halloumi pops a great take on a way to eat Halloumi and the wine list while small is absolutely perfect for the venue. I simply can't fault them. See less

Had the El Barto Pizza as shared entree. It was light and delicious. The Pork Belly was good although some of the pork pieces was quite dry. I still give this place a 5 stars because the waiter was warm, friendly and provided excellent customer service. See less
