Could not recommend Tokyo Sushi Kitchens sushi platter more! Sushi was fresh and the platter offered a diverse range. The team at TSK were friendly and their service can not be beat. Thank you TSK, I will definitely be back! See less

As a crazy Japanese food lover, I have tried so many sushi and sashimi in Japanese restaurants in Melbourne and never be more satisfied with the food at TSK. Their sushi is tasty and sashimi is very very fresh as picture below. I had very good food experience after having these delicate sushi. Strongly Recommended. No doubt to rate 5 stars! See less

Was pretty above average, nice food for cheap prices and the portion is quite generous The katsudon (pork) sauce was a bit too salty (due to too much sauce), but the cutlet was good, sadly I also found an eggshell in my don :( 3/5 Unagi don was pretty good, it was proper and delicious for the price, 5/5 Service was great, staff were friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean! Not a lot of seats though, as it focuses on takeaway food. See less

This Japanese restaurant geared towards quick bites and takeaways. They have a small number of main dishes and also sell handroll sushis on the go. A delicious surprise for a little pop up store in South Melbourne. I tried the chicken karaage, Pork ramen, unagi/salmon don, yakitori, agedashi tofu and takoyaki. The deep fried dishes were crispy, flavourful and not soaked in oil, I particularly enjoyed the pork ramen, broth was umami. The don was a little on the salty side, and the salad could do with some vinegar/lemon juice to freshen the palate. Overall for food, ambience, 4 stars. Caveat there’s little seating available. Tried the karaage, traditional pork ramen and grilled pork udon. The karaage was good, the meat is soft and still warm when served. However the ramen and udon were disappointing. The traditional pork ramen has clear soup which is not "rich and creamy pork bone soup" as advertised. It has とんこつラーメン (tonkotsu ramen) written. The udon soup is also average, and the udon noodle has vinegar-y smell to it. The grilled pork was freshly grilled, but the meat is a bit too hard. Service is good and the place has around 10ish seats. They also sell sushi and poke bowl. See less
